Chapter 6: Meeting the Roommates

(oh btw i decided that Hannah is going to be staying with them for 2 months not just a few weeks cause it fits better for what i have in mind for the story so yea )

Hannah's POV:

I stood there in shock, looking around in awe in the doorway of the gorgeous mansion Devyn and Corey lived in. It took a few more steps in side and did a 360 spin and took it all in. "There's no way you guys actually live here" i said with a little sass, "is this some kind of ' hey lets mess with Hannah and take her to some random rich person's house and tell her it's ours prank'?" i asked suspiciously, raising an eyebrow. "ohhh no, we won't be pranking you. yet" Devyn said with a smirk. "yea we'll definitely wait a couple hours or until you get settled in thennnn we'll prank you" Corey said from the other side of the room with a wink. I rolled my eyes sarcastically then smiled. "Oh by the way none of the roommates are home yet because they are all out filming or buying stuff for their videos, i hope you don't mind" Devyn said hanging up the car keys on the rack near the door. "Nah it's ok they don't need to stop everything just cause I'm here" i said with a laugh. I never really liked when people went out of their to do stuff for me, or missed out on stuff for me, i don't know why it just makes me feel guilty for some reason.

We took my bags up to their room and set them next to the mattress they had laid out on the floor for me with blankets and pillows. They were going to set up another bed in their room for me, but i didnt want them going threw all the trouble so i just had them put the mattress down. They argued(playfully) with me about it for a little bit but then finally gave in. "Are you still sure you only want a mattress to sleep on? You know, it doesn't take that long to set up a bed" Corey said willingly. "The only difference between a mattress and a bed is that a bed is higher up, i think i'll be ok." i said giving a sweet but sarcastic smile to corey while raising my eyebrows, " besides, this looks and feels like the comfiest mattress i've ever slept on in my life so i'm goood broo" i said giving Corey a fist bump. "Ok i'll show you were the bathrooms and everything else is so you can find your way around. Then we can call down any other roommate who's in the house so they can meet you if you want" Devyn said as she led me out of the room and into the hallway. "We can start downstairs so then we can work our way up" she said smiling.

Devyn led me threw the kitchen, living room, garage, downstairs bathroom, gaming room, and showed me the pool and hot tub. "the heaters for the pool and the hot tub are both broken so the water in both are hella cold" she said with a slight chuckle. Then we went back inside and back up the stairs. She took me down one of two hallways where two rooms and a bathroom were. "The door on the left is Sam's room, the one on the right is Colby's room, and the one in the middle leads to their shared bathroom" Devyn said. "sweet" i simply replied as we headed to the other hallway which looked the exact, mirroring the other hall. "In this hall on the right is Jake's room and and the left is Aaron's room" Devyn said pointing to their rooms. After going back to Corey and Devyn's room and taking for like 30 minutes we decided to postmate some taco bell, cause we all love taco bell I mean come onnnn. Corey was editing a dance video for his channel with headphones in so me and Devyn were talking about recent youtube stuff and other things.

"Are you excited about meeting the roommates?" She asked sweetly. "Yeah, i've seen some of them in a couple of videos you guys made. They seem pretty cool" I replied with a slight smile and shoulder shrug. "Yeah they're really nice and super funny, your gonna love hanging out with us" Devyn replied with a smile. I got the alert on my phone that our food was here and devyn was going to go grab it and pick it up. She got up and as she was walking out she said something loud enough so that i could hear it, but i couldn't make out what she said. it kinda minded like the words "someones", "excited", "to", and "you" in one sentence. "what'd you say?" I asked her as she was almost to the door. "Ohhh nothing, I'll tell ya later" she said with a small smirk and I swear i saw her wink. I could hear her jogging down the stairs and open the door to greet the deliver person. Weird, I thought and checked my phone for messages while waiting for Devyn to come back with the food.
