The Hunt For The Demigods

Home Sweet "Boom!"

As we landed, we saw the demigods from Camp Half-Blood waving to welcome us. All of them were cheering and clapping once we reached the camp grounds. The first that came to us was Chiron.
"Well done you three! Thank you for bringing back the missing demigods home. I know it must be hard since this was your first quest. Your bravery and courage has inspired all of us."
"Well, it was tough but luckily I have these 2 boys by my side." I looked at Logan and took his hand and said "Especially him.." Logan blushed then looked at the crowed and said "Everyone! This girl Jane Stone is the real hero here. She was the one who risked her life fighting the god Ares to save and find these missing demigods. Sure she has her powers, but the most important power that she had was Love." Then he looked at me "And that love is what brought my heart back to life."

The whole crowd gave so much "Awwws" for Logan's cheezy but very sweet speech. I loved him for that. I kissed him on the cheek and the "Awws" just got so much louder. Then Percy and Annabeth approached us.
"Okay you love birds! You guys are the cutest but we have some questions for you too." Annabeth said.
"Why were you fighting Ares? Well, not that I care. I hate him too." Percy said.
"Ares was the one hiding the demigods. He said he wanted war again. He wouldn't give them back without a fight. So I tried using my powers. It was too powerful so he decided to run away. But he said that there will be more wars to come." I said.
"That's very interesting. Anyway we need to keep our Camp on guard. We never know what might happen next. Thank you again you too." She said.
Percy and I did a high five. "Nice one beating Ares. Thats one win for both of us." He said. Then the couple walked away.

At night we had our camp fire sing along some camp games before we ate. When dinner started Logan offered to get our food so I was left alone. In the distance I could see that girl Piper leaning her head on Jason Grace's shoulder. She caught me staring at her then she mouthed the words "thank you" I smiled at her and nodded. Behind me I saw Percy and Annabeth  walking around the camp grounds. Percy wrapped his arm around Annabeth's shoulder and Annabeth held him tightly. Then slow music came out of nowhere. I noticed a group of satyrs were playing their flute. I was about to feel lonely until I heard someone say "Hey, whats wrong?" Logan sat down beside me.
I laughed "Do you have to be so concerned whenever I'm not smiling."
He leaned closer to me "Well, its kinda my job. When you don't smile, I know that in your heart that something is missing. When you don't smile, my only job in this world is to make that smile come back again."
"Then I'll never stop smiling... As long as you are here, filling that piece that is missing in my heart."
Before he could say anything else I kissed him. My heart felt like it was melting. I didn't want this moment to end until there was this loud crash near the forest. We all ran towards the sound. As we approached the forest, we saw a group of 4 standing with their weapons pointed at us. From the 4 a girl almost the same age as me stepped forward and said "Where is Jake?"
All of us were in panic little did I know that Logan wasn't beside me anymore.
