Chapter Six: New Life

«—7 years later—»

Y/n POV

It's been 7 years since the whole thing about Mr. Park. Thanks to him my reputation was really ruined. I did come back into school or at least for me it was like prison.

They took me out of all my classes and I would stay in one room for a good three hours of just listening to the teachers teaching me then they would bring me lunch.

I was no longer allowed to have lunch with everyone else and then went back to learning for another four hours.

I wasn't allowed to go to prom anymore and once I graduated I also wasn't allowed to walk the stage nor attend the after party.

Jin, Namjoon, Yoongi, Felix, and Mina always tried to visit me because I got my freedom taken away.

I was allowed to have my friends over and they didn't attend prom instead they threw me one at my house and I really did enjoyed those moments.

I got accepted into college along with that I got a scholarship to cover it so nothing to their.

Felix and I went into the same university while Mina went to the U. S. and I really don't know anything about Namjoon nor Jin.

They suddenly disappeared one day during the summer after graduation. All their things were packed up or at least that's what their parents told me. It wasn't like them just to leave without saying goodbye first.

They alway talk about traveling the world once they were done with high school so I didn't think much about it. I have tried messaging or call them but they changed their numbers for whatever reasons.

Along with Mina she one day stop contacting me and when I tried reaching out to her it went straight to voicemail. I mean everyone gets busy when they head into adulthood so I stopped and focused on myself.

The only person that stood with me was Felix. We both got closer over the past couple of years, and eventually I grew feelings for him. The feeling we're just too big for me to hide so I told him. Now everything is different...

...Yoongi... went though a hard time because as you remembered his mother didn't have that much time left...eventually she was too weak that she permanently had to stay at the hospital...he stayed beside his mother

I remember that Yoongi just sat on the bed and started out the window day and night. He wouldn't talk nor do anything. Just stand their while tears went down his face or sometimes he only had a blank expression...

I couldn't blame him...my mother is well and healthy and I can't imagine losing her one day...

We offered him to stay with me and my family permanently, but he declined...he just wanted to get away from the town that had the good and bad memories of his mother.

After that I didn't see him...it made me sad that I couldn't be their for him, but he wanted to be alone. I left the choice up to him if he wanted someone or not. I probably made a mistake for leaving him or it's what he needed for the time being...

It want up until last week he contacted me and we met up and that's when he told me that he went and stayed with his aunt. He says that he needed to be alone for sometime. And now he works as a music teacher for kids and teens. It felt nice to see him again after a long time...he got himself a new life where it's full of happiness...good for him...

Anyways, Today is an important day because my boss permanently retiring due to him being very old and so he is going to pass on his company to his grandson who is a little bit older than me.

I'm standing in front his my new bosses door and I knock

"Come in"

I walk inside his office and see that he is facing the window and I only see the back of his head. It looks very familiar to me, but it's probably something I don't need to worry about.

Y/n:"Hello Mr. Park, I'm Ms. Lee"

Mr. Park:"Ms. Lee? Who were you to my grandfather?"

Y/n:"I was your grandfather's secretary"

Mr. Park:"Hm interesting, I could have swore that your surname is Ms. Jung...care to tell me why?"

Why would he be interested in that kind of stuff? I mean I'm sure that the system updated my information because I'm no longer a Jung anymore.

Y/n:"Well I recently got married so it changed"

Mr. Park:"But doll you weren't supposed to be married to Felix your former classmate?"

Doll?...But that's...what he called me

He turned his chair and I saw his face. I froze from fear and the things that happened 7 years ago...

Jimin:"So how marriage life Y/n?"
