Bellamy:

I began to stamp out some flames that were creeping towards me, Jasper ran out from where he was hiding. He tried his best to keep the flames at bay as I ran behind Clarke and into the flames. They were burning my legs, every hair stood on its end. I was racing the flames. But who would get to Clarke first?

I cried out in pain as I could feel the fire begin to engulf my body. I put my dagger against the ropes and began to cut them away. Clarke's cries spurred me on, she tried to hide her pain but she clearly was not feeling her best. Someone trying to burn you alive does that to you. "Save yourself Bellamy, don't die for me." Her words began to falter,

"Don't be stupid Clarke, I could never leave you."

"Bellamy!" I heard Raven run out of the woods, she had managed to remove something from her pod and has filled it up with water. Chucking all of the water she had managed to gather onto the flames closest to Clarke, they began to fade. I removed the last few ropes and released Clarke. Forgetting she was so high in the air, I forgot she would fall...

"Jasper!" He ran with his arms outstretched, just in time, cradling her in his arms.

"She isn't good Bellamy." I already knew this, I didn't need Jasper to point it out. If she leaves this place with any permanent damage, we have failed her.

I have failed her.

With us we had brought one of the few stretchers that had landed with us when we first came to the Earth. Jasper lay Clarke on the stretcher and we walked as fast as we could back to the dropship. Raven ran back to the lake to gather some more water so we could cleanse Clarkes wounds later on.

Finn:

"Monty they're right behind us!" An arrow flew past my head, stabbing deep into the closest tree. If we carried on running like this we would end up leading them back to camp. I darted to my right, the hill was steep but that could only mean the decline was steeper. Once we had reached the top of the hill, we jumped and rolled. The world span around me as I rolled over rocks and sticks, and finally landing in a pool of water. Monty following suit.

"Where did they go?" I heard one grounder shout.

"I don't know, they were here, I swear,"

"You've messed up too many times now Dene Tha!" An angry voice cried, "Lincoln, sort him out."

"Please no!" Dene Tha begged, terror ringing in his plea, "I have a family."

I risked it, slightly my head rose from out of the water. A tall, muscular man held a knife in his hand and was approaching the man I expect is Dene Tha, the man did not look like he took pleasure out of his job. I saw him mutter something to Dene Tha, an apology? Whatever it was, Dene Tha simply smiled a little and nodded, as if he was almost comforting the tall man.

The tall man, Lincoln, lifted his knife and plunged it into Dene Tha's heart. Cries of pain escaped the poor man as death took him as one of his own. I closed my eyes, the mans screams running a shiver down my spine. I turned to see Monty staring at the tragedy unfold with his mouth open wide, collecting water like a bucket himself.

"We have to go," I whispered, as heartless as it sounds while the Grounders are distracted with their own problems, we need to escape.

Raven:

I just helped to save the girl I thought of as my enemy. It felt good. It felt good to help. To for once in my life not be considered as a bitch. Clarke wasn't that bad I guess; it wasn't her fault Finn hadn't said he had a girlfriend. Me.

I don't love Clarke, it will take a while for us to be on good friend terms. But the least I could do is stop hating her for something that wasn't her fault. Couldn't I?

Bellamy:

I lay Clarke on a makeshift bed in the dropship, "Thanks for your help Jasper and I'm going to probably need you again soon, but for the moment please could you give me a moment." Jasper nodded, squeezing Clarke's hand he left, shutting the door behind him.

"Hey." I said turning to Clarke, "how are you feeling."

"Wonderful, how do you think."

"Okay sarky, water is on its way and you have all the food we can muster next to you." I laughed, I sat Clarke up and began to bandage around her torso where the ropes had left wounds from being tied so tight. The same went for her arms and legs, as well as the burn marks that covered under her shins.

"Thank you Bellamy." She said as I lowered her back down,

"That's okay Princess, anything for you."My head was only centimetres from hers after lowering her back down, "Anything for you." I repeated.

Her big blue eyes looked into mine and I couldn't resist. I lowered my head and gently placed my lips onto hers, caressing her lips with my own. The world around us faded, our problems flew away and our emotions were released into this kiss. It was nothing like anything I have ever experienced before, it was a moment so pure I wanted to live in it forever. Having Clarke's plump lips touching mine for an eternity.
