Chapter 27: Bye Bye

Dana’s POV 

“do you think she is cheating on me?” I asked Cole, who was looking at the pictures of Lexi and the guy on my phone. “um… I don’t know, she probably isn’t, she wouldn’t do that” he replied “but look at those pictures, they cant just be friends, they are way to close to be just friends” I said “look Dana just calm down, you are over acting, go talk to her, isn’t she working at your dad’s café?” he asks and I just nod “then go to her, bro. besides I need to go and see Cassie, I haven’t seen her in like forever” he said “well at least Cassie isn’t cheating on you” I sulk, and Cole rolls his eyes “just go and talk to her, man. Anyway see ya” he said before leaving. 

He’s right, I need to talk to Lexi. I make my way to my dad’s café, which Lexi was now working at. My dad’s café is pretty awesome to be honest, its really young and modern, most of the teens come here after school and most of the workers are teens around my age and above. 

I walked into the café, and I found the most beautiful girl there. Lexi. She was standing, behind the counter in her work uniform which was a purple shirt with a collar and her blue skinny jeans and her hair tied up in a high pony tail. I missed her so much, I just wanted to hug her. But before I could even move. She walked to a table with a dude sitting down, I didn’t see his face but he stood up,  and gave her a hug and a kiss on the cheek. He was the guy from the photo’s. then the other workers went up to him and hugged him as well. Looks like he is mister popular already, beats mister snapback right? After he hugged everyone, he turned to Lexi, and put his arm around her. And the one that hurt the most was Lexi wrapped her arms around him as well. 

Lexi’s POV 

While I was at work talking to my work buddies and Jamie, I saw the face that I’ve been wanting to see for weeks. Dana stood by the entrance of the café, and I smile from ear to ear, and run to him and hug him. “I missed you so much!” I said, but then I felt like something was wrong since he wasn’t hugging back. I let go of him, and looked up at him. “babe what’s wrong?” I ask “oh don’t call me that” he said in an angry tone. And he looks at me then to Jamie. Oh crap, did he catch me and Jamie? 

He quickly walked outside of the Café. And I ran after him, “Dana please, let me explain!” I shouted, “No, I don’t want an explanation Lexi, just do your frickin job alright? Instead of throwing yourself at other guys when you have your own boyfriend!” he snapped and then he climbed into his car. “Dana!” 

I was riding my skateboard to Dana’s house, to explain everything. Once I got there, I saw Gabe’s and David’s cars parked outside. I knocked on the door and Big D answered “Big D hey!” I said “Little Linz!” he shouted back and he pulled me into a bear hug. “I missed seeing your face over here, no hard feeling about me saying to Dana about breaking up with you right?” he asked “Big D you’re like my second dad I would never get mad at you” I say back “Good, because I always miss seeing your face here” he said giving me a smile and I smile back. “so where’s dana?” I asked as he let me in. “he is moping around in his room, with the boys. He thinks you are cheating on him right?” and I nod, and me and him both laugh “Dana is so clueless. Anyway you can go upstairs now” he said. And I do as he says. 

I knocked on the door, and I opened it slightly seeing Dana lying on his bed, and the boys around him. When they saw me they all just stared. “I think we better be going, see you bro” Cole said “see ya Dana” they all said, and they greeted me on their way out. 

I sat on the edge of Dana’s bed but he turned his back from me. “Babe, can you stop your moping now?” I said as I wrapped my arms around him. “No, leave me alone” he said and he rolled off his bed. “Dana can you please let me explain before you over act” I say “why is everyone saying that I am over acting when I’m not, is it overacting to feel hurt, or be jealous if your fricking girlfriend is around another guy? No it isn’t!” he snapped, I stood up in front of him “ya know if you just let me explain you would understand. So I’m sorry-” he cut me off “stop it Lexi, this Is what everyone says when they are caught cheating” he said and my eyes widened “they say, oh let me explain, I’m sorry I didn’t mean to hurt you, blah, blah, blah. I already know since my last girlfriend cheated on me, and those are what she told me! So I don’t want to hear it from you” he said. “oh my god Dana can I just-” and again he cut me off.
