Judge's Note: This book scored exceptionally well on both cleanliness and readability. It also scored high on craft and workability. The jump on time from the prologue to the first chapter adds excitement, tension, and nuance to both the characters in the story and the story plot it's self. There was some nice use of figurative and extended language throughout. Story felt original and the world believable. Specifics used when describing different types of guitars (Telecaster), etc were effective. Some editing is needed to simplify some dialogue tags.
