The shattering of glass, the sound of mama's screaming, and the confused murmurs of the servants, running around helter skelter as I hid in the closet.

All too familiar a scenario, and all too funny a memory.

I never would have taken it that far if it weren't for my stupid way of being brought up.

I'm sick of it.

I'm done with it.

Routines, etiquette, manners..

..all of which never appealing to me.

I wanted to be like my Lady, Ila.

She was so happy and bubbly, and she got to do whatever she wanted. Not to mention that she wouldn't get scolded too.

She was so cool, fighting bad guys and sitting alongside King Arthur, next to his teacher.

I never really liked that guy.

She could attend to me, boss the servants around with her cool tone, and balance her studies and job all at once without breaking a sweat.

I wanted to be just like her.

It isn't too much to ask, to follow in the footsteps of your idol.

It isn't too much to ask, to be like the one you admire.

And of course it isn't too much to ask, so break a rule for once in your life.

But all I did was keep quiet and not tell mama.

Until today.

The breaking of a rule, the sound of mama's screaming, and the confused murmurs of the servants, running around helter skelter as I grabbed my favourite coat and snacks.

All too exhilarating a scenario, all too unforgettable a memory.

I escaped to the surface and never looked back.
