Once Overstepped;NamJin

Pain to Peace.

Anna- I'm sorry I'm so bad at updating :( I wish there were more hours in the day.X

Seokjin enters first, acting as a sort of protective barricade for the trembling boy behind him.

He shoots the others in the room a threatening glance as if to warn them that if they do much as breath the wrong way around the fragile male, he will put their head on a stake and hang it outside their window as a warning sign for the rest of the world.

Namjoon shuffles awkwardly behind Jin, making him quickly switch his ferocious look with a warm and welcoming one.

"These are my friends, Joon. Well to be honest they're more like family to me but eh." Jin says in a quiet, comforting voice.

Namjoon smiles timidly at the group of now quiet boy's, not meeting eyes with a single one. He clears his throat and takes a step out from behind Jin in a sudden rush of confidence.

"Hey, I'm Kim Namjoon but you don't have to use my full name like that, you guys can call me Namjoon or basically anything you want, I can almost guarantee that I've heard it before."

Hearing Namjoon speak so lowly of himself and so openly makes the members wonder exactly what hardships this poor man has had to endure throughout his life.

Taehyung was the first to respond to the tall boy in front of them as the others were still trying to recover and comprehend how the boy could talk so frankly about a topic that, in their opinion, is quite upsetting and personal.

"Hi! I'm Kim Taehyung but you can call me whatever you'd prefer as well. However, people normally go for Taehyung, Tae or TaeTae." Tae smiles his signature boxy grin and the whole atmosphere of the room completely shifted from his one simple act of kindness.

Hobi is the second to introduce himself, his enthusiasm almost rivalling Taehyung's.

"I'm Jung Hoseok but you can just call me Hoseok, Hobi or your little ball of sunshine."

After those two, the three others rush to introduce themselves, suddenly eager after their brothers' flawless attempts.

Youngish introduces himself as Min Yoongi, but you can call him Yoongi or his nickname and stage name 'Suga'.

Jimin follows in tow of Yoongi, saying his full name, "Park Jimin" and then what he would prefer to be called by Namjoon, "Jimin, Chim or Minnie."

Finally, the maknae stands up, shuffling from foot to foot, still feeling a little bit out of his element despite his hyungs' making the mood of the room much lighter than it was prior to them talking.

He looks up from the ground and smiles shyly at Namjoon before starting his introduction.

"H-Hi, I'm Jeon Jungkook, Kook, Kookie or just JK if you wish." He finishes breathless, having used up all the air in his lungs as a result of the lack of pauses in his rushed speech.

Namjoon looks up at Jungkook and smiles warmly at him, making Jungkook think, 'how can he so easily be so nice and kind and his smile be so welcoming when he's been through so much in the past? If I ever get to be as good of a person as this hyung then I'll die a happy man. From this day on I'll admire him and strive to be like him in all I do.'

Namjoon's comforting smile eases the fear that Jungkook was fighting, as well as the nervousness of those around them who anxiously awaited Namjoon's opinion of them.

"It's nice to meet all of you, I have a feeling that this is going to be a new start for me and so I want to thank you all for being as open to taking me in as you have been. You really didn't have to." Namjoon says getting teary eyed, a genuine look of thanks written across his face.

"Aww Namjoon-ah! It's our pleasure. Anyone important to Jin is equally as important to us." Hoseok smiles brightly at him, the others quickly joining.

"Group hug!" Taehyung yells and they all crowd together, entwining themselves into one big bundle and enjoying the close proximity that they are to the people they care about.

"Is this what a family is like?" Namjoon thinks, optimistic of his future with the group.

Anna- Things have been rough lately and on top of that I get my GCSE results this Thursday. I'm trying to hide it but truthfully I'm shitting bricks just thinking about it. Anyways, wish me luck, Fighting! X
