Chapter 10

Buttercups POV

I look all over the party for something to do but, nothing I decide to go to the living and room to sit on the couch and watch the game, but they where so loud so I went to the pool, there was fun

"Pass the ball" I hear johnny say playing volleyball in the pool with some other kids

The kid threw the ball but it landed out of the pool right next to my foot

"Buttercup!" I hear Johnny call my name

I grab the ball and pass it to him and start to walk away

"Buttercup come on let's play" he says looking at me

"But I don't have a swim suit on" I said

"When did you ever care about that" he says with a smirk.

I look at him and the team who all look at me with a glare for a challenge, "fine, just one round" I say and I jump into the pool "yeaaaaah" they all scream and we play volleyball.

(4 rounds later as well)

19 to 19 the ball was about to be bumped by a volleyball player, but instead he was looking at me with a glare that he was about to spike, the lights went off and the uv lights came on, the pool was glowing and so was I (because of the stupid outfit), the boys weren't wearing any shirts and all their pants weren't neon so it was hard to see.

Still I wasn't about to lose I made my eyes green so it was easy to see where the ball was heading I, jumped up and got and blocked his spike with one of my own my team won, they cheered and I got out the pool

"Buttercup where are you going" Johnny asked

"To get a drink I will be back" I yelled as I was heading inside

"Ok" he yelled back

I try to make it through the crowd of dancing teens, finally im through the maze and got to my destination, the kitchen, I go through the fridge and found nothing but liquor , beers and another drink that looks like vodka in a water bottle. I grab the beers and head out through the maze again

While I move through the couple dances I stop, to see butch and this girl grinding in front of him, I sit there and look until he looks over and sees me , For some reason I grab the beer and went outside on the front pourch to get some fresh air. I walk and sit on the steps , open the beer and look at the stars. They where pretty cool, I hear the door open but I didn't care to see who it was

He sat next to me, then says something that made me hop up " hi buttercup" it's butch, I get up and try to stand but almost fell because of how much beer I drank. Butch caught me

"You ok" he asked looking at me while I'm in his his cold arms, " I'm fine let go of me, and how are you so freakin cold"

He hesitates before he comes up with an excuse, "cold night duh" he said scratching the back of his head

"Yeah sure" I say before I take another sip of my beer

"Stop drinking that stuff it ain't good for you" He says taking the beer away from me

"Why are you out here bothering me" I say "don't you have a girl waiting to dance with you more, and how do you know my name" I say playing stupid like he did in gym a while back.

" what do you mean how do I know your name, we've know each other since we where kids

"You sure didn't know it in gym class" I say looking at his green eyes

"Like you knew mines" he said elbowing me before looking at the stars

"That's Because I don't want to remember you" I say with my head down
