She became my phosphene.
You see,
Ultraviolet love is quick to tessellate into a smeared kaleidoscope of ultraviolent bruises,
once that tristful facade of fervent phrases are left, manipulated and sprawled into scripted, blacklight ink.
She became no more than an invisible firework, infinitely transparent as she crystallised into my veins.
