"Aw man, I really wanted to preform!" Radiance said as Cana patted the girl's back. "Now then, everybody will have the rest of the day off to get thier outfits. Now, GET OUT OF HERE!" Celeste said and everybody nodded, leaving.
Timeskip to the time of the grand ball.
"Okay everyone, let's go!" Aura said as she spinned around. "I'll create a portal!" Vice said, causing the guild to look at her suprised. "Wait, I forgot to mention I can create portals?" Vice asked, and Ash nodded at the girl. "Oh, Sorry.. Now, open gate to the grand ball!" Vice said and a portal appeared. The guild stepped into the portal and gasped. The portal was red with deep orange and gold mixed in. They looked down and they were shocked to see they were walking on..... "FIRE?!"
"Oh, each portal is different. It all depends on who opens it. It can look like anything really, but the caster's deepest power and meaning decide on what the portal looks like. My family has been using fire magic for many generations. My deepest power is royal fire dragon slaying, since royal dragons and regular dragons are on different levels of magic power. My deepest meaning is to take control of the fire dragon kingdom when it is my time as queen. Because of this, my portals represent a raging fire." Vice explained, causing the others to nodd in understandment. The guild soon stepped out of the portal and found they were in front of the entrance to the grand ball.
"Well then, let's go in!"
