Narrator's P.O.V

Once Celeste whispered those words, her eyes began glowing black. The attacks continued, Celeste dodging each of them with ease. "That's it!" Celeste exclaimed as she growled. "Dark dragon's secret art, DEATH DISPAIR!" Celeste exclaimed as the sky became black. Vice was shocked awake by the volume as she looked around and saw the magic attacks coming towards them. She then saw the black sky and her eyes widened. Suddenly, black bullets rained down from the sky and attacked a bush, someone screaming. "Wh-what..?" Vice questioned as the screaming stopped, turning into coughs. Celeste looked down at Vice and saw her looking at the blood coming from the bush. "Y-you kil-led th-the-m.." Vice wimpered as tears spilled from her eyes.

"Vice.." Celeste whispered as she watched the younger cry in her arms. "Vice.. They're not dead, just hurt." Celeste said, causing Vice to calm down. "Re-really?" "Yes, really." Vice smiled, hugging Celeste the best she could. "Vice, can I ask you something?" Celeste asked and Vice looked at her curious. "What is it, Celeste~san?" Vive asked and Celeste gulped. "Will you go to that new restaurant that just opened up?" Celeste asked and Vice grew confused. "That fancy one on Hill Street?" Vice asked, causing Celeste to nodd. Vice sighed and nodded her head. "Yeah, I'll go." "Okay, will you go.. with me?" Vice's eyes widened in suprise. 'SHE WANTS TO GO WITH ME?!!???!?' "Vice..?" "Huh? Oh." Vice looked at her hands before looking back up at Celeste. "Umm.. Sure?" Vice said, causing Celeste to smile softly at her. "I'll pick you up at..?" Celeste asked and Vice giggled. "6:00, if that's okay.." Vive said and Celeste nodded. "Of course it's okay," Celeste said, stopping in front of the guild. "I'll see you then Vice." Celeste said as she went back to the forest, seeing the blood from the bush. She walked up to the bush to see a man. Be had several wounds and was uncousios, not to mention barely alive. He had a mark on his shoulder. "The dark guild Erm. Named after Mieko's husband. Why would you attack me and Vice?" Celeste whispered as she got out a lacrama. She pressed the record button and sighed. "Dad, this man just attacked me and Vice. He has a dark guild mark on him, the guild Erm, named after Mieko's husband. Not just that, the magic was slaying magic. I have a feeling this wasn't coincidental, but on purpose. Anyways, I'll send him over, don't question him until I get there. Oh, and, I won't be coming home 'till late. I have a.. date with Vice." Celeste recorded and pressed the stop button and then put it with the man. "Gate to Dragon Realm; Dragon Palace dungeon." As soon as the gate formed, she kicked him in. "Now to get ready for my date with Vice."

Timeskip-5:50

Vice stood infront of a full length mirror, looking at her dress. "Vice, you okay?" Flake asked and saw Vice. "Somebody's got a date~" "Wha- NO I DON'T!" Flake giggled as she came up behind Vice. "Okay, okay, whatever you say." Flake said as she brushed Vice's hair. "But, where are you going?" Vice's face heated up as it became red. "To that new restaurant." Flake nodded as Lunaris walked in. She stared at Vice suprised then walked up to the two. "Who's the lucky girl?" Vice's face became even more red. "What?" "Who's the girl taking you on a date?" Vice's face became red once again as she looked to the ground. She looked at the clock and the panicked. "5:58!?" Vice exclaimed as Flake finished putting her hair up. "What's so bad about 5:58?" Lunaris questioned and heard a knock on the door. Lunaris went to open it and saw Celeste at the other side, dressed in a tux top with a skirt and heels. Lunaris looked the older up and down before smiling smugly. "What are you all fancied up for?" "I'm taking Vice to that new restaurant." Flake then came up with Vice and smiled brightly when she saw Celeste. "Vice." Celeste said as she took the younger's in her hand, bringing it up to her mouth and kissing it. Celeste then led Vice outside and Flake smiled more. Lunaris looked down with a sad face and Flake looked up at her.

"What's wrong Lunaris?" "Hmm?" Flake hugged the older. "I know that face, Lunaris.." Flake whispered as she tightened her grip on the celestial dragon. "Something's wrong, I can sense it." Lunaris's eyes widened as Flake let her out of the hug. "What is it Lunaris?" Flake whispered as she cupped the other's cheek. Lunaris stayed silent and then began to cry. "Lunaris!?" Flake exclaimed in worry, pulling the older closer to her. "I-I'm sor-ry.." Lunaris sobbed through her tears, Flake hugging her tight. "Why are you saying that?" No response. "Lunaris.. Please.." Still no response. "Lunaris, please respond.. Please?" The celestial dragon looked at the younger, and then back down at the ground. "It's just.. I've always liked Celeste.. I was able to smile and be happy for the two..... But I can't help but to cry!" Lunaris said and Flake's eyes widened when Lunaris said this. "Lunaris, look at me." The celestial dragon looked down at the smaller as Flake cupped her cheek. "Lunaris, now you know you and Celeste aren't mates.. Now you can go on waiting for your true mate." Flake said and Lunaris nodded. "Thanks Flake.." "No problem, Lunaris, no problem."

With Vice and Celeste

The two entered the restaurant, all eyes on Celeste and Vice, mainly Vice though. Whispers were heard from all around, all wondering why the guild master of Dragnolia is here with another female they have never seen before. Vice shrunk at the attention that was put on her. She didn't like to be the center of attention. She would only be the center of attention if it was for her guild or her kingdom. "So, Vice.. How's things going?"  Celeste said, hoping to spark up some conversation. "It's going fine.." Celeste nodded as the two looked around. "Vice, do you know what the magic council is talking about this time?" Celeste asked, causing Vice to nodd. "Their going to make all guild masters pick an assistant to help run the guild. The assistant can still participate in the GMG, and other things like that. They did it to lessen the stress on guild masters." Vice said as she put her head down. "Well, I want to know if you would be my assistant." Celeste asked and Vice's eyes widened. "Me?! Wouldn't Aura~kun be more suited?" Vice asked and Celeste shook her head. "You're perfect for it, Vice. You're responsible, kind, strong, smart, and beautiful. Not to mention you are the heir to the throne of fire dragons." Celeste said as she put her hand over Vice's. The action caused the royal dragon slayer to blush, causing Celeste to chuckle. "You are more than able, Vice. I believe you will be able to do it." Celeste whispered softly, only loud enough for Vice to hear. The younger continued to blush as Celeste leaned in to her. "Celeste!" A voice exclaimed and the two dragons looked toward the voice to see Nova in her human form.

The dragon looked to be in her 50's, and very beautiful. Her golden hair came to just above the floor, white highlights brightly showing. Her skin was the same as Celeste's, fair. She wore a long white column dress that came to the floor. A long golden cape trailed on the floor behind her, her silver heels bloody. What was the most concerning, was the huge wound in her stomach, that had blood spilling out of it.

"Mother!" Celeste exclaimed worriedly as she rushed over to Nova. "Celeste.. the drag-on k-kingdom.... it's under at-tack." Nova said, before coughing up blood. "Mom.. Who's attacking the kingdom?!" Celeste questioned, teleporting herself, her mother and Vice to Dragnolia. "Th-the go-god-s." Nova managed to stutter out before falling uncousios. "The gods.." Vice muttered. "Vice, get all the slayers here.." Celeste said and the fire dragon nodded, leaving to gather all the slayers in the guild. Celeste put her attention back to her mother, caressing her face.

"Those damn gods will pay.."
