Chapter 2: My place in the house

The guy let me stay. I was super grateful for that. Later he said he was Joe.

And then, Joe threw a surprise welcoming party. For me! All for me! He got a bunch of his friends to come over and celebrate with us. I cannot remember all of them, but there was Lee, David, Annette, and Amy. He also brought 4 dogs and 1 cat. The cat was Mittens, and the dogs were Sherbert, Duncan, Barnaby, and Benton. They were all really sweet.

Turns out they weren't done. All this time, they had been upgrading the room I had been staying in! I had gone for a wander around his house, and then around his world.

Wanna know a secret? I'm in love with Mittens. I mean, she's BLACK. It's the best color EVER. And her whiskers are awesome!

Woo Mittens! I love her! ❤️
