Aside from CaiSi, who is your favorite MG character? Why?

Xi Men. I like his whole arc with his former love and Xiao You (more than the Caina- Terence-Mei Zuo arc definitely). But I suspect it's mostly influenced by how aside from DiYue, I like Xi Ze the most out of F3.

Yu Sao was probably my other favorite character. I love how she was a voice of wisdom and insight and a figure of support for both Ah Si and Shan Cai. I only wish she was introduced earlier. My other favorite character was the F4 as a brotherhood. I adored the dynamic they had so much and how, ultimately, they would always support each other (be the family some of them never had). I wish they focused on that a little bit more.

My favorite characterS are the amazing Daoming Zhuang and the wonderful Mrs. Yu.
They are the biggest CaiSi shippers, and even if we didn't get to see that much from them they're powerful and warm women! I genuinely love them.

This is so cliche, but Lei. Hands down. He is definitely the most interesting and compicated character on the show to me. Besides him, I'd probably say Zhuang. I love how she is so kind to Shancai and supportive of CaiSi when she could have been bitter about it, considering how things ended up with her first love.

Xiao Yu because she's a good friend to Shan Cai.

I have always had a soft spot for second male leads, so I will say Lei, even though I love Zhuang and Mrs Yu as well. In all the versions of MG, this is my favourite Lei.

The President of this ship (Caisi/DiYue), Zhuang-jie.

Besides CaiSi, I love Hua Ze Lei. His love for Shancai is unconditional. He was willing to protect her at all costs. He was with her when she needed him the most - when DMS threw the boxed lunch at her; when DMS started dating He Yuan Zi; when he found her and brought her back from the fishing village; when she was in London; and others.

Lei. I envy how the guy sleeps. LOL. On a more serious note, I relate a lot to his loyalty to his friends and how he goes above and beyond for their happiness.
