The Saint Brother
Chapter One

•••

Age 13

Every since I was a kid, I always get what I wanted. My parents never corrected me if I'm wrong, they never shouted at me or even hurt me. And I always think that I was lucky but I was blessed to have them as my parent. My Lola Margaret, mommy's mom, loves me very much like she owns me. She gets angry when my parents didn't give me what I wanted, so that they'll give in. That's how I lived my life before my younger sister arrived in the family.

I just turned seven when my sister was born, we're six years apart. She's so small, and she's very pretty. All I can think was, I should change my ways because I already have a sister, I don't want her to hate me because I'm always bratty in front of my parents. But it will never change the fact that we were born different, she was born normally while I was... nevermind. We were born in Paris, to my French mother, and my Filipino father, my Grandpa is a Filipino but he was born here in France.

My Grandparents from my mom side, are businessmen here in France, they own luxury hotels, manufacturing company, pawnshops, malls and more while my father came from a business/political-clan of Consunji's. My parents lavishly gave us a comfortable life, and to make it happen my Mom decided to live in Saint-Pierre Estate, it is where Mom grew up. This is where she started to be a Princess of her own kingdom.

"Frère, est passée maman?" My seven year old sister asked.

She basically grew up speaking French, she understands Tagalog and English but she prefers to talked to me in French because she said she likes my French accent but I liked to talked to her in English because I want her to learn that very well.. She's really intelligent, she talked really early. She has talents, when I mean talents, she can sing, dance and act. I'm so proud of her.

"She went to see grande mère. Do you need something?"  I asked. I kneel in front of her, she's holding her favorite stuff toy. She went closer to me and hug me.

"I want to play." She said, beside my ears.

She's sad, my parents weren't always at home. My Dad lives in the Philippines and we're only here with my Mom with some butlers and maids. We're like prisoners in our own home, we can't go outside without bodyguards, I can't go out with my friends because I really don't have one, I only have Sophie, she's the only one I consider as my childhood friend. I'm  enrolled in Manheimer School, Sophie's family owns it, I'm attending with Lyndon and my sister. We have our own room where we study from piano lessons to foreign language class, from history to politics because we study here in our house with our tutors and I also enrolled myself in a online class so I can study as advance as I could.

It was boring until I decided I can make a difference, I can make a different path for me without my parents noticing. And it was to give my sister a life where she'll feel safe and free from all the pain my parents had cause her, but it's still the plan. I started modelling when I was 9, my parents likes me to be a model and because of that I asked Lola to let me do modelling. She'll never say no to me, probably if I kill someone she'll clean the mess for me.
