Jeezum it happened. Wednesday June 5th a lot of my pals graduated. Kind of an oof but i'm big proud of them.
We had a rehearsal before the actual ceremony and I got to stand right behind CJM and VN.
Bro CJM and VN - my mothers. Both of their hats were so cute. CJM's had a picture of Río de Janeiro because she's moving there in October. She also wrote "May the road rise up to meet you" which is a quote from the irish blessing (a song that ACAP sings at the end of every concert). VN's had a bunch of pictures with her friends on it. It was so sweet. SK has a pretty nifty hat too. It was 3D. He basically just put a bunch of things he did in highschool on his hat. He had a rubics cube cuz he solved a bunch, a diet coke (he drank that all the time), a lacrosse badge, a pink carnation (from one of our theatre shows), and a paper crane made out of O Fortuna (we would make papercranes all the time and O Fortuna was 1/4 songs that we sang at graduation)
I got to take pictures with CB and WoAh in their robes and they looked so cute. I took a pic with Car Boi while he was eating pizza. I also got a pic with VN. Then they had to go to this other room where seniors lines up.
During the ceremony Kaye sang a song and it was so pretty. It's called Awake, and it's about graduating and stuff. Also my best friend Bian was there because her brother was graduating so that was nice to see her (she lives in Oregon).
I thought i would cry for a lot more people but i only teared up for 2 people. CJM and VN. Those really hit me for some reason.
Afterwards though i was walking around with Lynn and Bian and hugging the seniors and I. Hugged CB like 3 times and I cried every. Single. Time. I'm gonna miss her so much. Every time she would see me she would open her arms and go "Yacyy!!!" And i'd run to her. I truly love her. At least she's going to the super major college in my town so she'll be around.
Later SK surprisingly came and found me to give me a hug and take pictures with me. I thought he was just gonna leave to see his other pals (he hangs out with the cool crowd which i'm not in yikes) so that made me happy. He still has't sent me the pictures though. He told me he'd be at school for a bit though so we'll see if i see him. He's going to the college where the ceremony was held so he'll be around too.
I'm really gonna miss my friends but I'm excited to hear about what they do in the real world :) it's truly and utter bittersweet
