Chapter 4

    I've been here for, what? An hour? Two? I don't know.
'Hey,' I send through the link, 'Hey sis!'
    'What?'
'I'm bored! This interrogation room is boring!' I can practically feel Jynx' eye roll.
'Have you considered, oh I don't know, hacking into their mainframe?'
    I roll my eyes, 'Give me a little credit sis! Chip's working on it!'
'Okay, okay! What do you want me to do?'
    I huff out loud, "I wonder what the kiddies are up to."
    "Interrogating you most likely." I look up from the table to see... good 'ol Speedfeet
    "Hey Speedy!" I cheer with a smile that quickly drops, "Wait, no, that was the arrow guy right? What's his name now? Archer? Apollo-"
    "His name's Red Arrow." KF interrupts.
    I look at him deadpan, "Oh." I roll my eyes, "How very original."
    Kid Flash snorts before walking to the other side of my table,
    "So you wanna tell me why you and your friend were at Ace Chemicals?"
    I raise an eyebrow with a smile, "You wanna tell me who you are under that cowl?"
    He snorts again "Touche."
    "I try." He rolls his eyes. "So not that I don't love talking to you but, where's Water-boy? Or Tweety?"
    He shrugs, "Probably training to release their anger that some stubborn villainess gave them with all her taunting."
    My eyes widen, "Someone else is here too? Wow, you guys just love kidnapping my people, huh?"
    KF smiles, "Kind of our thing."
    "Fair enough." I smirk.
    He rolls his shoulders back and places a hand on the table, "Look Ace, me and my team really need to stop you and your friends before a lot of people get hurt-"
    "No one will get hurt."
    He raises an eyebrow, "How do you know?"
    I roll my eyes, "Because that isn't part of the plan."
    Speedfeet perks up a little, but tries to remain nonchalant, "This plan involve these...Petals you and your buddy were talking about before we arrested you?"
    I give him a big smile, "Correct you are, Ginger!"
    He huffs, but leans closer to me, "And who are the Petals?"
    I smile even wider, "Family friends."
    "Well, where are they-"
    "Kid-Flash!!" we both turn and look at the doorway to see Black Canary. "You were told to Stay. Away. From. Her."
    "Rude." I mutter with an eye roll.
    "Yea, but I got something out of her!"
    "He really did." I tell her with an innocent expression.
    "Quiet, Ace. Kid-Flash come to the training room."
    "But-"
    "Now."
    He huffs, again, "Sure." And he's gone.
    Black Canary glares hard at me, I smile. "Nice glare. Batsy's is still better but," I shrug, "yours is decent."
    "Stay here." she growls out before leaving.
    I look at the ceiling before yelling, "Where exactly would I go?!?!"

I sigh from boredom. Quite hard to do when your upside down though. At the moment I am doing a handstand, balancing on one hand, since I've gotten out of those stupid handcuffs ages ago. With a small huff I turn my body and switch my hand, then I do it again, and again, and now I'm just spinning in circles.
'Hey!'
'What now A?'
'Well excuse me I just wanted your help to leave here. Unless you want me to stay with the mini league forever.'
'It'd definitely be quieter.'
'....now that's just rude Jynxie.'
'I'm aware. Anyway, whaddya need?'
    'V good?'
'Yes..?'
'Good. You, V and Wolfy-cat get the van and drive by the old warehouses in Happy harbour. I'll meet ya there in....let's say 20 minutes?'
'Aye aye, captain.'
I smile to myself, finally some real fun. With a over dramatic sigh, and a involuntary eye twitch, I receive the information on the mini teams mainframe. I blink multiple times,
"Wow, they know where it is yet they don't know what it is." I snort, "What an oxymoron."
With that said, to get the kiddies curious when they rewatch the security tapes, I stare directly into the camera lens.
  "See ya 'round, Birdy" I say with a wink before Chip knocks out the feed.
With nothing but static on their monitors, I stand up straight and pop my back. What? Priorities, man. I activate Scanning Mode of my biomechanical eye and scan the metal door in front of me.
"Bingo." I whisper with a smirk as I find the control box.
In 0.13 milliseconds the door is hacked(thanks, Chip) and sliding open. I casually walk out and glance down both directions of the hallway. Weighing the options in my head, I shrug before making a turn to the left. I'm completely silent as I creep down the halls, very rare for me to do, and I finally get to the main training room. I glance around the doorway to see the kiddies....sitting around a picnic table. I mentally laugh.
    'Yea,' I think to myself, 'they are definitely on Justice League level.'
    With an eye roll I slightly slump against the wall; I flick my eyes back and forth, looking for a safe exit path. With a mental groan of aggravation I activate Scanning Mode again. The entire facility turns to outlines and the mini league is highlighted in red. I smile as I see a vent shaft above me; I follow the shaft and find that it leads straight to a small shed right outside the mountain.
     'Good as place as any' I think. With my path secure I turn and quickly snap off the vent cover. I wince, 'Shoot. Forgot about the Mini-Boy-Scout's hearing' I glance back at the kiddies to see him... not paying attention... at all. 'So when the baby throws a tantrum, he doesn't pay attention to his surroundings. Neat.' I hoist myself up into the vent and start my silent journey to the outside world.
