Brooke's POV

"Let's bring you guys inside," I said softly, removing our two new born baby carriers from the car.

The icy air whistled around my ears, causing my skin to tingle and sting. Snug inside my many layers of clothes, everything felt so perfect. Every step I took left a fresh, crisp footprint in the thin layer of snow resting on the driveway, as if I am the only person to have ever been here. Snowflakes continued to gently fall from the sky, tickling the end of my nose and tempting me to stick out my tongue and have a taste. Both Ava and Jimmy were wrapped in blankets as we made our way to the front door. Niall put in the key, pushing it open as quick as he could. Immediately, I hit a wall of warm hair, spread through out the whole house.

"Welcome home kiddos," Niall said softly, kissing me on the cheek.

I giggled as Tessa, the oldest of our five children who had recently turned five, ran into the foyer, her little brunette pony tail swinging from aide to side. Following her was Lilah, age three, and Oliver, age two.

"Are these our new little brother and little sister?" Tessa whispered, worried she would wake them up.

"You don't have to whisper dear," I giggled, "And yes. This is your baby sister Ava and this is your baby brother Jimmy," I smiled.

"Can I hold one of them?" Lilah asked, pushing the strands of blonde hair out of her face, showing her crystal blue eyes which she obviously got from Niall.

"In a little while, okay? Where's Uncle Harry?" Niall asked.

"We're here," Riley squealed as she dragged Harry into the room, hand in hand, along with their three year old daughter Bailey.

After Riley switched to UCSB with all of us, she became super close with the other girls and I. Since Harry and I were cousins, we had decided to ask them to watch the kids while we were at the hospital, being that the delivery was only a short two days ago, and after every birth you are required to stay a second day to double check the health of the baby or babies, along with yourself.

"How are you? How are they? Oh my god, they are so god damn adorable," she said quickly, giving me a hug from the side.

"Good to see you too," I laughed, "Did the kids behave?" I asked as we all walked into the family room.

"Sweetest little kids ever. They even helped Harry make some Pumpkin cookies, absolutely delicious if you ask me."

"Yeah, we were the assistants chefs while you were gone. Riley even bought us so white hats from the store. I got to go with her while Lilah and Ollie set the table and helped Harry decide what we would make. We made cookies, and Mac and cheese, and...," Tessa stopped, forgetting what else.

"It was green, and had veggies," Oliver added in.

"Salad?" I asked.

"Yes! It was very yummy," she grinned, patting her stomach.

I giggled, amused with their actions. It was funny how just a few years ago, Niall and I were in college, meeting for the first time, experiencing all sorts of problems together, completely unsure of how the future would work out. Somehow, everything worked out so perfectly and with the help of Niall, I had given birth to five beautiful children. We still had all of our closest friends living nearby, seeing each other multiple times every week. I couldn't ask for anything better.

"Look Mommy, it's snowing out," Oliver squealed, pointing outside.

As I looked out of the window, a blanket of white stretched as far as I could see. All the familiar features had disappeared, hidden under the lumps and bumps of the coverlet. Sun sparkled, picking out glittery diamonds clasped in frosty settings. It was absolutely stunning as the snow started back up.

"You're right Ollie, it is," I cooed, turning my head when Harry began to squeal.

"Bailey, no. You know you aren't allowed to touch the curls!"

"But it's funny though," she smirked, crawling on to Harry's lap in her little purple dress.

"Bailey, you know it's my weak spot. Don't touch the curls," he said, right as her fingers came in contact with his hair, followed by a loud shriek coming from Harry.

"Shit, sorry. I forgot the babies are alseep," he said quickly, receiving a hit on the arm from Riley.

"Language Harry, there are six kids in the room," she scolded him.

"Sorry Mom," he joked around as she rolled her eyes.

"We are going to get going, but let us know if you need anything, okay? Dinner is already made and on the counter for later," Harry explained as we all said our goodbyes.

"Girls day soon, alright? You, El, Perrie, Dani, and I," she said.

"Of course," I replied as Riley, Harry, and Bailey walked out the front door.

"When do I get to hold them?" Tessa asked once again.

I looked to Niall, both of us with huge grins on our faces.

"You can hold them now baby girl, just take a seat on the couch and be very careful."

I watched as Niall showed her how to hold them, one at a time. Carefully, she took Ava into her own hands, cradling her back and forth, Lilah holding Jimmy with the help of Oliver.

"Life couldn't be any better," Niall said, as he placed an arm around my shoulder, bringing me closer.

"We are so lucky," I replied, my lips meeting his.

"That, we are."
