Brooke's POV

"Ni, are you sure? I mean, I feel bad leaving you with all the kids."

"Princess, you deserve a break. Go out with El for a little while, I promise I have everything under control. Plus, Louis is coming too, you have nothing to worry about," he said as if that was suppose to make everything better.

"Knowing that Louis is going to be here only makes me more worried," I giggled as Niall wrapped his arms around my waist so our stomaches were touching.

El had been my best friend since we met back in college in the sorority. After a few weeks, she began dating Louis which I was ecstatic about. Shortly after Niall had proposed to me, Louis proposed to her and had gotten married not too long after. Now the two were happily together with two children, Penelope whom was now five just like Tessa, and Leo who was two just like Oliver.

"Just go out for a little while, I promise everything will be fine. One week and I will be back to work all day, this is my chance to spend some time with the kids," I sighed at his response.

Just a little over a week had passed by, it now being Tuesday. Tessa was at her half day kindergarten program, Lilah was also at school, attending her half day of preschool. This left Oliver, Ava, and Jimmy to be home. Eleanor had invited me out to lunch at the mall, and to shop both before and after. Of course I wanted to, but I felt bad leaving so much for Niall to do. After all, I was the stay home Mom. He wasn't used to everything that had to get done, but I knew he would figure it out. Louis being there was another story. I loved him to pieces, but never once had I not seen him turn a situation into a comedy show.

"Okay, alright I'll see you a little bit," I sighed, "Oh, please don't forget to get Ollie some lunch in a bit, and try not to wake the kids, and-," Niall cut me off.

"Honey, I have everything under control, love you and see you in a bit," he said, giving me a quick kiss on the lips.

I nodded, grabbing my purse and phone from the counter, before walking out the door to where El's car sat on the driveway.

"For someone who just had two kids, you sure look damn fine," she giggled.

"Says the hottie," I laughed.

As we drove out of the neighborhood, I looked through the window, admiring the scene. A thin layer of snow still remained on the ground, slowly beginning to melt away until the next snow storm which was soon to come. Only the footprints of animals could be seen in the ground as we passed by in a blur. Slowly approaching the shopping center, cars lined each side of the road, people working on their christmas shopping for their loved ones.

"Are we still all going to get together and do a big Christmas celebration?" El asked.

"I don't see why not," I replied, El parking the car.

After college was over and all of our relationships became more serious and what not, we began to celebrate the holidays together. We would all have a huge celebration on Christmas Eve, and spend the actually holiday with our parents and family, we being Louis, El, Dani, Liam, Zayn, Perrie, Harry, Riley, Niall, and I, plus all of our children. It was a blast.

As we made our way into the mall, side by side, I looked around, taking in every little aspect around me. The air was warm, with an aroma of cider and spices coming from the cooking store just a few shops into the mall. Tons of people lines the vicinity, hands full of shopping bags. In the very center, a huge christmas tree was displayed that reached all the way to the ceiling of the second floor. All sorts of ornaments and ribbons were hung from it, a candy cane fence around the bottom where a man dressed in a Santa costume say in a huge chair, taking pictures with little kids. The sound of jingle bells could be heard by the girls dressed as reindeers next to the fence. It was perfect, my favorite holiday just around the corner.

"Brooke, we have to go in here," El said, pointing to a little shop, the windows filled with baby clothes.

She took my hand, dragging me into the store.

"Little baby shoes always make me so happy. They are so cute," she squealed, me giggling in response.

The two of us went through several different racks, pulling out the perfect outfits for our kids.

"Do you think Tessa would like this?" I asked her, holding up a thick white sweater.

"You have to get it for her, she will love it," she replied immediately.

I continued to rummage threw the variety of racks, picking out a few cute little pairs of shoes for each of the kids, and an outfit for each. By the time I was done checking out, El was ready to leave the store as well.

"To lunch!" she semi shouted.

"To lunch," I laughed.

Niall's POV

Like little penguins, the five little kids waddled out of the door, Ava and Jimmy both being carried out by me. All seven were bundled up in several layers of clothing, the children being my five, and Louis's daughter Penelope whom was picked up from school along with Tessa and Lilah not too long ago, and his two year old son Leo. I watched as Oliver's eyes went wide, admiring the fresh new layer of snow created earlier this morning. It wasn't much, but it was an amazing sight to see, every time it snowed. Being such a thin layer, there was no where near enough snow to build a snowmen or have a snowball fight, but it was amusing to watch Tessa, Penelope, and Lilah lay in the snow, creating snow angels, Ollie and Leo both attempting to throw little bits of snow at the girls. Even I played around a little bit along with Louis, but that was no surprise.

"Daddy, what's that beeping noise?" Tessa asked.

I stopped to listen for a second, a constant beeping sound coming to my ears as my eyes went wide, realizing that it was the smoke detector.

"Louis, we forgot about the food," I groaned.

The two of us darted off inside with the kids, making our way to the kitchen which was filled with an aroma of smoke. I opened the oven as quick as I could, pulling out the burned tray of chicken nuggets which were now a crisp black. Smoke and steam filled the room as Louis attempted to strain the pasta, so there would no longer be any water in it, which resulted in pasta being dumped all over the floor.

"What's going on here?" Brooke asked as she walked through the garage door which led into the kitchen, El by her side.

"Um, well-," I began.

"It's okay. I knew this would happen. We brought everyone Nandos," she giggled.

"You're the best," I walked over to her, about to kiss her cheek.

She pushed me away, "I know, but clean the mess first," she smirked.

She was going to drive me crazy, but I loved her anyways.
