"Remember," Tommy made sure you were looking at him before continuing. "I'll be home at nine so be sure to-"
"Yeah yeah. I know the drill. Make sure i'm in my room pretending like I don't exist."
"Y/N. You know I don't mean it like that. I just don't need Vince or Nikki looking at you like you're their next meal."
"I get it Tom." you answer a little harshly. "You better leave before you're late."
You could tell Tommy wanted to say more but instead he gave you one last look before closing the door. Sure, you could understand where Tommy's thinking process was coming from. You didn't necessarily watching girls drool all over your brother but screw him! You could take care of yourself! Yes you are currently living under his roof but you're a grown ass woman who shouldn't have to take shit from her brother. You continued your silent monologue with yourself for a few more minutes before promptly turning your attention back to the tele.
At some point your eyes grew heavy and the world turned to black. Consequentially four car doors slamming shut had you bolting up like a bullet.
Shit! you whispered to yourself. There was no time to make it to your room so the next best option was the kitchen. So that's where you ended up, crouched behind the counter, listing to the sound of the lock turning.
"That was crazy! I can't believe she actually did it!" An unfamiliar voice sounded from the front door.
"Hey Tommy?" Another unfamiliar voice spoke. "Do you have a ghost living with you?"
"Huh?"
"The television. It's on."
Fuck me... you silently cursed.
"Oh. I must have left it on or something when I left."
"You never have that thing on. Unless we're having a party or something."
"Well I don't know...Maybe-"
"Tommy," a voice that seemed weirdly close asked. "Who's this?"
"Who's who?"
You felt a nudge on your left side and you look over to see a tall guy with dyed black hair and eyeliner looking down at you. You slowly stand up and look over in Tommy;s direction, giving him an apologetic smile.
"Little bit young for you Tom, don't ya think?" One of the guys, you're assuming Mick, asked from the chair.
"Ew! This trombone? No way in hell!" The words pour from your mouth before you could stop them.
I'm sorry." The guy you know know is Nikki, laughs. "What did you just call him?""Nothing! She didn't call me anything." Tommy rushed over to the both of you while sending you a harsh glare.
"No, she definitely called you something man." The blonde, Vince, said. "What was it? A trombone?""Yeah. He's long and lanky, like the slide of a trombone." You answer, earning yourself a slap on the arm.
"You know what Vince? She's right!"
"I've never thought of him like that but now I can't un-see it!"
"So who is she anyway Tommy."
"Guys," Tommy pulled you into the living room. "This is Y/N. My sister."
"Sister?"
"Damn why didn't you tell us you had a sister?"
"For this reason exactly!"
Vince held his hands up in surrender.
"I don't need you two drooling all over her. My sister is off limits...Understand?"
Nikki nodded.
"Vince!"
"Huh? Yeah, I understand." He gave me a wink which caused me to laugh and for Tommy to give me a confused look.
