Hayden looked around the bustling streets, his head bowed and his cloak still on him. Everyone one was just shadows, which was really weirding out. He sighed softly, biting his lip in thought. “It would’ve really helped if I’d ever seen this anime….” He whispered, before opening his menu. “Maybe I can find something on the store?”

He chuckled and hit the store option. Scrolling through the expensive items, he spotted something that might be of use to him.

This phone is a Gamer’s connection to the outside world. It will allow you to look at allowed information, play music and look at games for ideas.

He grinned slightly. “I have just enough thankfully… Maybe I can buy a skill book while I’m at it?” He asked himself, before purchasing the item.

Hayden gained a slight frown as he found out he couldn’t buy anything else. “Damn…. I have a few hours apparently until the ‘First Chapter’.” He mumbled, looking at the phone. “So I can maybe go to the library and find more info about this world.” He nodded his head, feeling satisfied with his choice.

His minimap took him to the library, and he almost laughed. “Too easy to navigate now.” He opened the door, instantly going to the history section. “Alright… TIme to consult a book about my problems.” He chose a book and set to work, his intelligence increasing all the while.

Hayden rubbed his eyes, putting the books away in his inventory after he checked them out. “Thought the time would never come! So it says here this ‘Ruby’ girl will be there…”

Failure: No progression and will have to restart mission

He sighed, nodding. “If there was one thing I hated when I played Dying Light, it was protecting companions. They always attracted a shit ton of attention and it was so annoying.” He began walking to Dusk Till Dawn, where the fight will take place.
