Truth Be Told

: CHAPTER 19 :

"What took you so long I thought you weren't comi- Are you okay?" I nodded as I walked into the empty class as  Jaebeum sat at the front.

"Why aren't you looking me, and why are you in guys clothing."

"I think we should stop this." I said and he stood up from his chair.

"What do you mean?" He asked taking a step forward i took a step back and held up a hand.

"Sehun and I we- were meant to be."

"What the hell are you talking about? Is he here?" He asked I shook my head and tried to leave the room.

 After this I was going to go back to the dorms and make sure I pass the back exit and get hit by a car.

"Goodbye Jaebeum." I said holding the door.

 I was pulled back and held in a tough grip as my hat was knocked off and my face was held in Jaebeum's hand.

"Wha-" He couldn't finish his own sentence as he looked at my face.

 I looked away with the eye I could at least see though, and got out of his grip on my face, wincing at the pain.

"Why didn't y- Y/N." Jaebeum whispered his voice cracking.

"WOULD YOU HAVE COME! YOU DON'T EVEN CARE ABOUT ME YOU JUST WANT THIS TO ADD TO YOUR PORTFOLIO OF CASES SOLVED! JUST LET ME GO SO I CAN DIE IN PEACE!"

I broke free from his grip and yelled at him my face burning from anger and the amount of pain that I was in.

 I almost collapsed to the floor, but held my self up most of the pain coming from my stomach.

"I knew I should've just gone to the police the second he let me out, But no I had to trust someone only looking for detective points." I grumbled as I hissed in pain.

"What did he do to you?" He asked his eyes trained on the floor I chuckled bitterly.

"You need Details for your report right, He tried to rape me- Excuse me "Make Love" to me. I refused to the point of getting him so angry he hit me until I was Unconscious. Honestly I don't care if he- Where are you going!" 

I stopped my painful explanation to move in front of Jaebeum blocking him from ripping the door open.

"To kill him." He said a calm expression on his face, taken a back by his calm composure I fixed myself for the next questions that left me bitter.

"W- Why would you? You don't even care about m-" I was stopped when his lips crashed on mine.

 Due to shock I almost tripped over my feet trying to step back. He held onto me before I could fall and brought me into a hug.

"I do care, a lot Y/N." He said, slowly facing me his anger gone and now a look of hurt and adoration placed on his face.

"I've liked you ever since that stupid riddle thing, I even tried to tell you a couple times but I thought you Liked Sehun... I didn't want to face rejection." He said not breaking eye contact with me.

"I- I should've been there for you." He said his voice going into a whisper.

 I closed my eyes as he leaned in to slowly close the gap between us.

 I started to break down as he kissed me the kiss reminding me what it was like to actually feel loved and cared for and normal.

He broke the kiss and laid his lips on my forehead as he brought me into his embrace.

 "Screw this, We need to leave." He said and I nodded.

"We are going to get you somewhere safe, Far away from him... that will take some time though." He said pulling out his phone I watched as he began searching through his call.

"Where do you want to go?" He asked and I looked up at him with wide eyes.

"What do you mean can't we just go to the next town?"

"It'll be too easy to find you, you know what I know a place where he won't be able to bother you." he said putting the phone to his ear.

 In less than a second he was talking to the other person on the phone. I smiled as he began talking to who I assume might be his dads employee or secretary.

 Was I really going to get out? Did Jaebeum actually like me! 

I giggled to myself as I went into a spiral that I myself had to admit looked creepy.

 I shook my head and got the thoughts of Jaebeum being with me forever out of my head.

I spent too much time with that Psycho.

"Alright, So we might not have this as easy as I thought but we will get out. I booked us tickets but they are a day away, you think you can wait until then baby?" 

I took in the information well until he let the pet name slip, he looked at me with his hand over his mouth.

"Y-Yeah." I said my face heating up.

 He nodded clearing his throat and looking back at his phone a small smile added to his flustered face.

 I picked up my hat and played around with it as a bubbly silence filled the room. We both laughed for a while and it was pure bliss.

"Y/N," He said after our laughter died down. I looked at him as he looked at his phone.

"Remember when I told you a missing persons was filed Soyoung? There's a body." He said and my eyes widened I went to look at the report that obviously wasn't meant for him but still read the details.

 I looked up at him with a sad and worried face and he nodded. He held me close and kissed the top of my head.

"I wont let anything bad happen to you anymore."
