"Please take your luggage and proceed out of the Hogwarts express" repeats the train driver for the millionth time.
Ayden stands up and stretches his hand out for me to follow. Taking his hand, we make our way back our booth to collect our luggage and make our way off of the train.
••••••• I sat on the window pane of the Gryffindor meeting area, with Lucia on my lap as I watch out into the mountains as the snow falls. I never truly realized how beautiful this place was. You only appreciate beauty when you're in deep thought about something or when you're about to lose it.
"Ready?"
"Uh yeah." I jumped, snapping out of my thoughts and placing Lucy on the ground.
Jade offers her hand and I take it.
"Aliceeeeee" screams Andrew as he approaches me and engulfs me in a hug
"woah woah woah, steady there buddy" I say as I try to hold him up as he crashes his full weight onto me. Ayden sees me struggling and pulls him off of me, pushing him on the bench.
"Are you fucking drunk already man?" Scoffed Ayden
"Yeaaaaa. You have no idea how long I've been trying to get wasted. Y'all since when-"
"ITS YOUR FIRST DAY BACK AND YOU'RE ALREADY DRUNK???" Jade shouted
"Shhh shhh shh, stop being so loud." Andrew says placing a finger on Jades lip in attempt to silence her.
"Hey bro, when did the girls here get so hot? Have you seen Raven? Phew I'd tap that"
"Women are not some type of object you can 'tap' Andrew. Have respect" Jade says pushing him off the bench, causing him to land on the floor.
Ayden and I burst out laughing as Jade's facial expression turns sour. "I mean you deserved that one buddy" I said completely unable to control myself at how defeated Andrew appeared at this point.
"I think you should stay in tonight, that's not gonna look good on your part when you fuck up the assembly and land us all in trouble" said Ayden.
"i thInK yOu sHouLd sTaY iN toniGhT" mocked Andrew "I'm fine. Let's go" . If Andrew thinks he's going to ruin the first day back at school for either is us, he's way in over his head. I slowly take out my wand from my boot.
"Sorry Andrew, love you but Petrificus Totalus, you're not ruining tonight for us. Have fun, we'll be back in a few" I say to a frozen Andrew kissing him on his forehead.
Jade begins laughing as we make our way to the dining hall.
••••••• Checking my watch, I realize we're all fifteen minutes late, thanks to Andrew and his minor set back. As I open the door I feel eyes daggering into our backs, a pair of eyes in particular. Mrs Diana Potter. My mother. To say that woman didn't scare me would be a complete lie, she made me shiver at times but she was like my older sister. After dad died we became closer than ever and I could always count on her for anything. Not right now tho, she's gonna kill me.
