Tap! Tap!
The sound of the rain hits the window, raising my hand to check my watch, i realize it's 2 am.

I haven't been able to sleep since earlier this afternoon as curiosity and confusion filled my mind. Getting off my bed I wrap myself with a soft silk robe that reaches mid thigh and make my way out into the corridors.

I quietly walk to one of the only places I feel safe in this school, a place I use to think and release my thoughts and tension.

I walk down the stairs making my way to the indoor garden. Looking up I see the raindrops violently hitting the glass, I begin shivering.

I sit cross legged on the bench, surrounding the water fountain, the moonlight shining through the glass, landing directly onto my face.

I begin humming as a means of thought and peace when a blooming petal catches my eye. I sit up, leaning into the petal more and more, out of shock I stop humming, to then find the petal no longer blooming. Rolling my eyes I resume humming, once again seeing it blossom.

After realization strikes me, I start singing, this time the petal blooms to its fullest before it falls directly off of the flower. My face went from awe to blank in all of one minute.

Looking at the now dead petal, I raise my hand to grab it "What are you doing?" oh no, I know that voice

Slowly turning around, my eyes are captured by an angry Vince. Anger slowly but surely rises from my insides at the fact that he can question my actions

"Do you have any other facial expression? Like seriously.." I shot

He clenches his jaw "Do you know what time it is?" He shot right back

Raising my left hand with my watch I respond "If you're this observant to know I'm out of my room, at least be observant enough to know I have a watch on my hand and I'm completely aware of what time it is" I make my way past him towards the door

As I past him, his hand latches over my wrist. "Who said you can talk to me like that?" His eyes stare into mine, almost like it's seeing my soul.

Looking back into his eyes, I'm completely lost for words until I finally speak up "I don't answer to you. Let go of me" I said in attempt to pull my hand away as his grip tightens around it, hurting the bruise he left yesterday.

He refuses to let go. "VINCE"

"Yes?"

"LET GO OF ME" I shout as he still has his hand on me

Smack!

The sound of my right hand making contact with his face, causing him to let go of me.

I take this as an attempt to run away however Vince grabs me by my left hand and pulls me out of the garden.

"Scream and I will slit your throat" says Vince
