"Mother!" Quinn gasps. The Queen glares, "Quiet, you stupid girl!" Carlos growls lowly at the Queen before Jay flashes him a look to stop. Quinn flinches away, looking to the floor as she shrinks into her hoodie.
"Don't disappoint us..." Facilier threatens. "Of course not," Flaria says to her feet, 'I'd rather not deal with your shadow anymore.' Carlos merely nods along with Jay. Quinn gives a curt nod with her eyes still glued to the floor.
The Queen claps her hands gleefully, "Goody! We must pack you all right away!" She quickly stands, yanking her daughters arm, and heads back toward the door. Quinn winces and gives a quick look behind her to the other teens in a silent goodbye before they were out of her view.
Cruella falls behind herself as she walks out the door, "Come along! You can still squeeze in a few chores before you go!" "I'm not Cinderella," Carlos mumbles as he trudges behind his Mother. Her head snaps around to look at her small son, "What was that?" "Nothing!" Carlos' eyes widen as his Mother continues to lead him down the alleyway.
Flaria smiles a little at the scene. Jafar stands and fixes his robes, "Come along, Jay. Did you find any lamps?" Jay nods and quickly pulls out the lamp he recently stole.
"Wonderful," Jafar's eyes gleam like a child in a candy store before he snatches the lamp from his son's hands and starts frantically scrubbing it, "Wonderful!"
"I... I already tried," Jay hesitantly tells his Father. The man stops and shoves the lamp into the boy's chest before leaving with a shout of defeat. Jay simply sighs and follows after the tantruming man.
The door closes and Facilier turns to his daughter, "I would make your life terrible for the next few months... but since you are heading to Auradon... I'll let you off," he glares, "Just don't do anything else to anger me..."
"I'll just, uh..." Flaria starts to walk away, "leave you to your planning, Father." He nods and the room turns dark as she enters her own room. She closes the door behind her and slides down it, 'I shouldn't have done that...'
An hour of packing later, the four broken families meet once again but in the Isle's closest thing to a town square. Carlos puts his trash bag of belongings in the back of the limo before getting in. Jay follows closely behind after tossing his sling bag in the trunk.
"Bring home a lamp!" "And a puppy!" They hear their parents shout at them. The only "goodbye" they know they'll get. Quinn carefully sets her own bag into the trunk and slowly makes her way around to the door, glancing back at Flaria before climbing in.
Flaria dumps her stuff in last and closes the trunk. She starts to walk around and hears her Father say to her, "Remember the plan." She pauses slightly before getting in without looking back. The limo drives away with the four adults staring menacingly at them through the back window. Jay's shoulders tense as he turns back from watching their parents.
"Are they still staring?" Carlos asks tentatively. Jay nods with a sigh, "Yeah..." Quinn observes their surroundings before her eyes stop on a strange food in front of them. Flaria glances out the front windshield to see the oncoming drop into the ocean, "Guys!"
The other teens look up in alarm to see their doom. "It's a trap!" Quinn shouts as she latches onto the nearest person. "They're trying to kill us!" Jay exclaims. Flaria quickly looks back to see two figures standing on the harbor, one red and one blue, "Jay..."
He looks back as well as Carlos screams in fear. "Huh..." Jay's voice falters as he sees the blue clad figure. He frowns, forgetting their fate ahead of them, "Oh..." Everyone braces themselves for their untimely demise in to the ocean, but it never comes. "Uh, shouldn't we be dead by now?" Carlos asks as he takes a hesitant look.
Quinn opens her eyes to see a magic golden bridge continuing to form in front of the limo, "Magic...?" Jay carefully opens his eyes out of curiosity from what Quinn was talking about. He quickly turns his head back but the harbor is far past their range of sight.
He turns back and slumps in his seat as Flaria interrogates the driver, "Hey, what just happened?" The driver hums, holding a remote. Jay composes himself and leans forward with his signature smirk, "Did that remote open the bridge?"
The driver ignores the teens and brings up the automatic divider. "Rude," Jay smirks, "I like him." He chuckles as Flaria laughs gleefully, "This is so..." "Wicked?" Quinn finishes as she stares at the candy in front of her.
Flaria nods and looks at the candy, "What's that?" "I don't know," Quinn shrugs before picking up a piece of chocolate, "But I want to find out..." Carlos snatches the great from her fingers and plops it in his mouth.
"Hey!" Quinn pouts. He smiles, chocolate smeared across his face, "It's sweet!" She eyes the chocolate on his face before leaning close enough to barely leave space between their lips. She pauses a moment before swiping the chocolate off his cheek with her thumb and tasting it.
She hums joyfully, leaning back in her seat, "It's so good!" Carlos snaps out of his trance, red creeping up his neck, and crosses his arms in an attempt to act unfazed. Jay chuckles and nudges the boy in a teasing fashion. Flaria cackles and leans forward to grab herself a piece.
