Part 8

Olivia's POV
I laughed as Richie told a funny story when he was a kid. We were striding along the sidewalk, side by side, in the night. This few weeks we had became closer and closer. By closer i mean friends duh.

"Hey look at that. Maybe we can grab some snacks. Im hungry" I said, pointing to the store

"What? I have a lollipop if you want" He smirked as he looked down to his pants

"Oh my god you're gross!" I replied with disgust and walked away from him to the store

"It's still awake by the way" He shouted from behind me. Without hesitate i put up my middle finger at him

We entered the store and walked around to grab our snacks. I grabbed some Takis, M&M, Lays, Coke and mineral water. Well, im hungry.

Out of the blue Richie threw a fake poop at me and it hit my head

"What the fuck, Richie?" I said angrily as i rubbed my head. He was burst into laughter

I looked over at the fake poop. I took and threw back at him. He tried to avoid it but it hit his shoulder.

"Do you want to do something?" He said as he held the fake poop in his hand. I raised an eyebrow

We ended up buying the fake poop and decided to pull a prank at anyone who is going to the store

First, it was a man. We put the fake poop on his car. As he get out from the store and went to his car, he saw the poop. He yelped and got angry, cursing.

Both of us laughed as we watched him behind the bushes and high five. Next, was a woman.

"Oh my god" She said and almost puked. We laughed.

All of a sudden my phone rang. The caller ID shows "Eddie Spaghetti". The volume was really high. I quickly try to turn it off but the woman caught us.

"You naughty kids!" She said angrily before chasing us but she didn't make it

We ran really fast while laughing our lungs out. Soon we stopped at a playground to catch our breath. We were really tired and out of breath.

"That was so funny" I said as my breath went back to normal

"Did you see the look on her face when she saw the poop?" He said as he imitated the woman's face and i laughed

I sat under a shady tree, leaning my back againts the tree and opened the Coke to drink. Richie plop himself beside me and grabbed the Coke after i finished drinking it.

"I miss doing things like this" I said

"Me either" He said

Then i turned my head to him.

"Can i ask you something?" I asked him as he faced me

"Go ahead"

"Why do you always hanging out with me? I mean why not Bev or Bill or whoever in the club"

"Easy. Cause you're beautiful and fun" He replied and took a sip from the drink

"Can you be honest please?" I rolled my eyes

"Okay calm down. First, because you're my best friend. Second, you're not like them, Bev, Bill, Stan and Eddie. You're different. You don't ignore me, whenever i ask you to hang out or something, you didn't say no but instead you said yes. You're also very beautiful, kind, cheerful and lovely. I never-"

Richie got cut off when my phone rings. The caller ID shows again "Eddie Spaghetti"

Why you didn't answer just now?
Oh sorry i didn't notice you called me
Oh okay. Mary told me to tell you to come back to the hotel. It's late
Yeah okay. Im on my way. Bye

"So should i continue?" He asked raising an eyebrow

"No. Let's just go home" She replied as she got up from the grass and started walking

"Do you even hear what im saying?" He shouted from behind

"Yeah i do and now let's take the uber"

"Fine" He said

They arrived at the hotel by taking the uber. Olivia fell asleep and her head was rested on Richie's shoulder. He whispered softly at her and she woke up. Then they made their way to each other room but they went Olivia's first.

"Hey uh thank you so much for tonight. I had fun" He said before she enter the room

"Me too. It's the best night i've ever had. Goodnight" She replied and turned around

"Hey... so nothing?" He said before she could twist the doorknob

She was too sleepy to talk but she did

"What?" She frowned

"You know... what people do when saying goodbye..." He looked down on the ground shyly

She rolled her eyes before lean in and kiss his cheek (aw sorry no lips lmao jk). His cheeks turned all red and he smiled.

"Goodnight, Richie" She said softly before step into the room
