Part 26

After swimming for hours they finally get their ass out of the water. Richie helped Olivia wrapped the towel around her body and light up the fire. It was  cold and windy that night. Both of them change into a new clothes then laid down on the mat.

Olivia took out her popcorn that she brought from her house and poured it onto a bowl. Richie has his arms around her and her head was resting on his chest. They sat there, looking at the stars while eating their popcorn.

"Oh wait im going to play a song" Richie said

He took his radio and Every Breath You Take by The Police started playing. She smiled while looking at him, admiring every details.

"What?" He asked as soon as he noticed she's been staring at him

"Nothing. You're just... beautiful"

"Am i?"

"Yes you are, Richie Tozier" She kissed him then rested her head on his chest again

Just like that, they both fell asleep.

The sunlight hit Olivia's face which make her awake from the sleep. She stretched her body while yawning. She turned over to her side, to see her boyfriend half awake, squinting his eyes. This make her smile softly, he's just too cute.

Olivia then realized that she's still at the lake and it was at this moment she knew, she fucked up lmao. She started to panic and quickly got up from the mat, packing her stuff. Richie also got up and sat at the mat confusely. He frowned his brows as he looked at her.

"Hey where are you going?" He asked

"Home" She replied, still packing her stuff, not looking at him

"What? Why? We dont have school today"

"No it's my mom. I've promised her that i'll be back by 8:30 last night and i- i literally fucked up now!" She said in a panic tone

"Hey hey, im going to get you home and i'll explain everything" Richie grabbed both of her arms and looked into her eyes, trying to make her calm

"But what if-"

"No no, i'll explain" He smiled

Both of them got into the car and Richie drove off.

Few minutes later, they arrived at her house. Richie parked at the sideway of the road. She exhales in relief then walk towards the door with Richie. She pressed the doorbell and the door was opened by her friend from her old school, Jessica. Olivia was literally shocked and surprised. Jessica and her are friends but not like, really close. They haven't met each other for a while now.

"Oh my god, Olivia! I miss you so much!" Jessica said happily while giving Olivia a hug

"Hey... Jess.. um what are you doing here?" She said awkwardly, replying her hug

"I'll tell you inside. Hm... i dont think we've met before" Jessica asked in confusion as she looked over to Richie

"Oh, Jess this is Richie, Richie this is Jessica" Olivia introduced them to each other

"Hi. Nice to meet you" Jessica smiled as she shook her hands with him. He just gave her a quick smile.

"We better change right now so excuse us" Olivia said to Jess and they entered the house, dashed upstairs

Olivia locked the door and dropped her bags on the floor. She then looked at Richie who's gave her a confused look.

"Who is she?"

"She's my friends from my old school"

"What is she doing here?"

"I dont know! You know what? I like her sometimes but mostly i dont because she's kinda a copycat and so fucking annoying"

"What? She seems cool to me"

"No she's not! She-"

Olivia got interrupted when there's someone knocking on the door.

"Yeah?" She shouted

"Hey, your mom is calling you. You better be fast" Jessica said from outside

"Okay! Just give me some minutes" Olivia replied "Im going to get change now, you can do whatever you want" She added

"Can i join you?" He looked at her up and down while licking his lips

"Yes but not today, four eyes" She laughed then went to the bathroom
