"I'm not sure whether to letcha walking dildos in, or throw ya over the railing."
Bobby scowled slightly as he answered the front door, hair still a mess from the previous Night and his rush from the bedroom after yanking on his PJ britches and a tank top. Unless his friends really knew him that well, they wouldn't even figure out what'd happened the previous Night, as long as the Mermaid in the other room stayed outta sight. They'd just think they'd woken him up, or that he'd been in the bathroom and had to rush to answer the door before they decided to break it down.
"Well, I'd say let us in," Rikki laughed. "I wouldn't wanna be a bad host like that when guests'd Traveled all this way, after all."
"Then again, it ain't our house," Bret snickered, a hand propped on his hip as he flicked ash off a cigarette butt with his free hand.
"I swear–put that damn thing out, if you're gonna come in," he grumbled, swinging the door wider. "If I won't even smoke in here, I'll be damned if anyone else does."
"Hey, fair enough," the drummer chuckled, stepping past him since he'd already put out his smoke.
"You're the homeowner, you're in charge of making the rules," the vocalist agreed, following in the taller blonde's wake once he'd done as told.
"I'm gonna assume ya idiots talked to Mishy," the bassist grumbled as he closed the door. "She's the only other one I know of who knew about this place."
"Yeah, we called her when ya never came back to the warehouse," the taller blonde answered. "Didn't know if you'd gotten washed out to Sea or something, so we figured we might as well check all your hiding spots."
Rolling his eyes, Bobby headed back to the kitchen, knowing his lady Love was waiting for the all-clear to come outta hiding. "There's a reason it was a hiding place, ya nimrod."
His taller blonde friend couldn't help laughing, although he abruptly sobered and looked toward the short hallway that led to the bath- and bedrooms. Bret cocked a brow as he followed their friend's gaze, and he realized they musta heard even the slightest rustle from the bigger bedroom, which was no doubt caused by Rina getting dressed.
Taking a deep breath, the bassist called out that she might as well c'mon out, 'cuz he didn't do breakfast-in-bed once a being'd risen for the Day. There was a muffled response, but he was still able to make out her telling him she'd be out in a couple minutes–or at least, that's what she hoped. He took that as she prolly couldn't figure out how to get the fly of the jeans he'd tossed her closed–which wouldn't exactly be surprising, if she'd never worn clothes before–and made the pair of blondes park their asses at the island as he headed off to see if his hunch was right.
In the bigger bedroom, he wasn't disappointed to find the Mermaid trying to figure out how to get the fly of her new jeans closed, her head tilting back with a frustrated huff as she gave up. Chuckling softly so he wouldn't startle her too badly, he walked over and gave her a sound kiss, his hands reaching down to close it for her as he did so. She seemed grateful enough as Bobby took a step back after that, and he couldn't help laughing as he noticed the bra he'd tossed her shredded on the bed.
No doubt she'd tried getting that on by herself, too, and when she couldn't get the clasps closed–or had gotten them hooked cock-eyed–she'd ripped it off any way she could. If that was the case, he could only imagine what a handful she'd be in anything fancier than what he'd tossed at her to Begin with and doubted that'd go nearly as well. Luckily, he was able to find a sports bra Mishy'd left behind, which seemed to be a lot easier for her to get into, even without help from him. After that came the tank top he'd thrown at her, and the bassist couldn't help admiring the view before him, which earned him a slap across the ass as she headed outta the bedroom and back toward the kitchen.
