Futa!Jennie
* * * * *

Her nightly routine is very straightforward; after school finished about a week ago, Jennie has much more time to do other things after the sun set. Dinner, hangout with one or some of her friends and then log onto League for a few hours. Then it‘s a movie or an episode or two on Netflix that helps lull her to sleep.

Tonight her mom made miso soup, musing to herself and embarrassing Jennie as she had her best friend Chaeyoung over. The other girl didn’t mind much, adoring the soup no matter what pun the name had formed. After dinner they watched the latest episode of Chaeyoung’s favourite drama before lying in Jennie’s bed and talking. Their discussion starts off light as usual, talking about their activities of the day and whatever else would come at the top of their heads.

Suddenly the discussion takes a turn as Chaeyoung brings up a topic avoided by the two for the past couple of days. Understandably so; separation was always difficult and the two had been together for four years now.

“I can’t believe you’re leaving in a few weeks,” Chaeyoung mumbles sadly, a sigh escaping her lips. She somehow sinks further into the bed, a frown deeply embedded in her face.

Jennie chuckles lightly, turning over to place an arm around her best friend’s stomach. “Don’t think much about that now. Besides, aren’t you coming after you graduate anyway? We can meet Joy together since she’ll be coming from Hong Kong to study with us as well!”

Chaeyoung manages to smile softly at the thought, but only briefly before her face melts into a frown again. “Still, a year is a long time.”

Jennie snuggles in closer, openly welcomed by Chaeyoung as she holds her close. “We’ll still skype and I’ll come visit my mom during the holidays. I promise you won’t miss me too much.”

Chaeyoung rolls her eyes as she slightly pushes the other girl away in jest, “Ya, who said I was going to miss you? Don’t flatter yourself so much.”

Suddenly a ping sounds off from Jennie’s laptop, a familiar sound that causes Jennie to spring up immediately. Chaeyoung nearly bounces off the bed at the sudden movement, trying her hardest not to giggle at her best friend's enthusiasm. And then the younger girl rolls her eyes again, knowing exactly what that sound means.

“Guess that means I’m heading back for the night,” she says as she hops off the bed to grab her stuff.

“Stay and watch a game, maybe? Jisoo-unnie said her friend Seulgi is gonna play tonight and we make a really good team!” Jennie exclaims excitedly, her eyes lighting up despite Chaeyoung’s clear disinterest.

“I’ll pass tonight,” Chaeyoung shakes her head, “Your game confuses me and makes my head hurt.” She scrunches her face at the thought of combos and lanes and champions, wondering how anyone can keep up with such a complicated game.

“If you say so,” Jennie pouts before turning back to her laptop. “Ah! Jisoo-unnie’s filling up our entire party. I wonder if she convinced Irene unnie to play too...” She muses to herself, looking at the summoner names and rejoicing in seeing so many of Jisoo's friends at once. She says several names outloud and her best friend can't even care to remember if she knows any of these stray names.

Chaeyoung tugs on her bag before walking up to Jennie, furiously typing away at her laptop. Her eyes glance at the conversation between Jennie and Jisoo before smirking at the text.

“You still haven’t told her that you’re not a boy?” Chaeyoung asks accusingly, narrowing her eyes at her best friend. “Or do you just like calling her noona that much?”
