Chapter Ten

Okay. I was really curious as to where Liam was taking me. And while we were driving in silence, I stared at my shoes and played with the hem of my dress. I feel Liam staring at me, but I don't look over at him.

"Rose, what's wrong?" He asks, worry in his tone of voice. I look at him.

"Huh? Nothing's wrong. I'm thinking. Tryin' to figure out where you're taking me." I say. He laughs, so I look over at him again. "What's so funny, Liam?"

He laughs some more and that's when I realize we are parked in a restaurants parking lot.

I look at the top of the tall restaurant to see the name is 'American Class'

Liam gets out, opens my door, and helps me up and out of his moms Cadillac. The valet walks over and Liam hands the man the keys.

"Thank you." I say. The man nods curtly to me and gets into the car. As we are walking in, a man begins to speak.

"Good evening, lady and gentleman. Enjoy your reservation." He says

When we get to the podium with a computer on it, the lady sees Liam and pulls her shirt down a little. I stare at her as Liam states his name.

"Oh yes, Mr. Handsome. You have a reservation for two." She spits out the word two as she looks over at me. I put my nose in the air. Liam hooks arms. with me as he leads me to the table.

I gasp as I see crystal plates and glasses. There was a bouquet of red roses and a vanilla candle burning. There was a small, silver wrapped gift on one plate. Liam walks up and pulls out the chair in front of the gift. I sit down as he pushes the chair in. He sits across from me and I smile.

"So, what's this?" I ask curiously. As I hold the gift carefully in my hand, I examine his face. His big blue eyes twinkling with love, and his lips pulled into a wonderful smile. His hair combed and styled, not his usual just-got-out-of-bed look. He nods his head towards the gift.

"Open it, Rosie." He says softly

I look down and begin to carefully open, wanting to save the wrapping paper of Liam's first gift to me. As the paper falls to the table, a red velvet box is sat in my hands. I open and gasp as I see a beautiful necklace. I pull out the necklace and see it is a little 3D rose.

It is so perfect tears prick my eyes and I look up and smile, laughing at the same time. I look back at the deep red rose necklace and smile again.

"Liam," I say. He's smiling at me.

"I got a beautiful, shining diamond necklace for a beautiful, diamond girl. My girl." He says softly

I spot a piece of paper wrapped around the necklace and I take ahold of it.

I unwrap it and it says "I'm in love with you." I smile and look up into those blue orbs.

"I am in love with you, too."

As we ate, we made small talk and had a lovely time.

"Are you ready Rose?" Liam asks

"Yes." I reply and we stand up. We meet and I take ahold of his hand.

As we get to the door, the man that greeted us says "Have a wonderful evening." I smile to him and I spot Liam's car. I walk to the passenger door and Liam opens it, letting me slide in before he closes it. When he gets in the car and starts it.

"So, where to?" I ask.

"Another surprise. A place I go to think. I have a feeling you'll love it." He says

We have been driving for a little over 30 minutes and I'm getting more and more confused as we go deeper into the woods and farther away from the main road. After about ten more minutes, we pull into a make shift parking lot, most likely made by people being here frequently. I step out and shoot Liam a confused look over the top of the car. He chuckles.

"C'mon." I follow him as we walk on a firmly packed dirt path. As I see a clearing, I notice a glassy lake ahead.

"Oh." I breath out. The moon is reflecting on the lake and it is beyond amazing. It looks...

"Magical, huh?" Liam says, taking the word right out of my mouth. I nod. There is a hammock set up right on the edge of the lake and Liam sits in it. I follow suit and sit next to him, cuddling up against him. He kisses me, sweet and gentle like. I get up, and pull off my shoes and step into the lake. I look up and a sharp pain hits my neck.

"What the-?" I say and realize its the bow Amy let me use. I pull all of the clips out of my hair and set then in the hammock. It feels nice to let my hair go. I feel Liam's arms snake around me and I feel his soft lips graze my shoulder. I turn around and smile.

I begin to pull my dress down and Liam looks surprised, but the look passes quickly. He unbuttons his shirt, and steps out of his pants. Once he's done, we both stare at our half-naked bodies. But I don't stop. I pull off my bra and throw it on the beach and I slide off my underwear. I hear Liam intake a breath as I turn around and head deep into the water. The water, up to my belly button, is warm. I look back to see Liam closely behind. I start to swim deeper in towards the middle, but he soon catches up. He grabs my waist and pulls my body flush against his.

He kisses me, full of passion. I wrap my legs around his waist as we bask in each others love in the middle of a lake, in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of the night.
