My hand slams to onto the analog alarm clock on the bedside table. Squinting my eyes I see the time. 6:30 am.

"Uhhhh" I groan and rub my eyes, sitting up slowly. I drag my feet back under the blankets and place one of them under my calf, why is it so cold in here? I stand up and pull on my sweatpants, one leg at a time. I almost fall over twice.

I grab my clothes for the day from my closet. A black t-shirt, a thin flannel, and some blue jeans from my dresser. I turn the water to Luke warm and test it on my fingers. My phone says 7:10, the shop opens at 7:30.

"Great," I mutter "20 minutes" I place my clothes and strip down to hop in the shower. As I wash my hair, I turn and bump my old spice body wash off the bar connected to the wall. This cause a chain reaction of everything else falling and then me screaming. Very manly screaming of course.

I pick up the mess and place them all back in their order. I wash off my face and hop out of the shower. My purple towel is damp after I finish. As I pull on my pants I check the time to see I've got 5 mins till opening. Great. I pull up my pants and wet my tooth brush. I finish brushing and spit out the left over paste. I hurry to the living room area and throw my sneakers on.

I run down the stairs into the shop, changing the closed sign to open again and prop open the door with a rock that I painted. I'm finally able to calm down now that everything's finished. I sit for about an hour till a customer Comes in.

"Welcome to Winchester flower co, how can I help you?"

"Hi, I'm getting flowers for my wife. What do you recommend?" The red-head woman says.

"I'm gonna go with either pink or red roses, which one would you like?" I start to walk over to our rose selection and grab a sample of the roses. She smiles and reaches out to the red ones.

"It's our 2 year anniversary tomorrow, it's very special this year so, a special flower for a special girl, am I right?" She winks and hands me back the flower.

"I'll take a bouquet of these with some baby breaths" we begin to walk over to the counter were she pays the $30.27 for the bouquet. She thanks me and heads on her way, telling me to call her when it was ready.

As she leaves the shop, the boy from yesterday comes in. I smile as he walks up to the counter.

"I'm here to pick up the bouquet my brother ordered. I believe his exact words were, 'the most expensive bouquet here'?" My smile widens as I remember the call.

"So your the one who thought I was cute?" The bouquet was in arms reach of the counter, it contained roses, carnations, irises, peonies, and marigolds. Some of the most expensive in the shop.

"Oh, um Yeahh," he nervously laughed and fiddled with the string of his white sweatshirt.
"My brother told you, didn't he? I told him not too"

"Yes, I believe he did. So, I had a question for you, blue eyes, what did you do with the rose?" He looked a bit red as he looked back up at me.

"Well, umm, I sorta, um"

"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to" I glance up quickly and continue wrapping the flowers in a red and pink tissue paper.

"Thank you, Dean" he rubbed the back of his neck.

"So, you know my name but I have no clue who you are. Care to tell me?"a smile envelopes my face.

"Maybe you'll find out, this Saturday?" He looked up at me quickly making eye contact briefly. I smirked.

"Maybe I will. Say, around lunch time?" He nodded and handed me a credit card. The card slides into the machine. I hand him back the card and place the flowers in a protective plastic wrapping. The receipt prints out slowly, but eventually it's in my hands. Taking the blue pen I scribble my number down with my name and hand it to the tan boy.

He thanks me and turns to walk out.
"See you next Saturday, Dean" he walks Out of the door with a smile, and I continue my day, just a tiny bit happier.
