The days leading up to the date were very different. Some of the regular costumers that came in even pointed it out. An older man named Jim came in every week to buy his wife a small bouquet of sweet peas.

"What's her name?" He commented. I looked up to the mans thick glasses to see his eyes.

"Well, sir, it's actually a guy I met recently" I hoped to gauge his reaction by saying it slowly. He nodded and looked down before returning his eyes to mine. He stared for a second before rolling his eyes.

"Well, are you gonna tell me his name then?" A chuckle escaped my lips as they formed into a smile.

"His name is, well actually, I don't know his name" I looked down distraught. "But we have a date this Saturday! So I can tell you next week!"  Jim looked confused at first, before nodding and smiling.

"Well, me and Patrice will keep you in mind boy, good luck with this young man. I hope all turns out well for you" he smiled and grabbed his sweet peas, leaving the shop with a wave.

Even Sam was a bit confused. He would give me looks whenever I'd give a costumer a small discount. Even to the point where he had me deal with flower deliveries instead of costumers.

"What is up with you man?" He had pulled me aside after the shop closed. "You never give costumers discount. Now your practically giving the whole store away" the wood creaked a bit as he leaned all his weight onto the wall.

"I don't know what your talking about Sam, I'm just being nice, that's all" I go to leave but he puts his foot in front of me.

"Who is it?"

"I don't know what-"

"Who. Is. It. Dean" I stand still and look back up toward his face. His eyebrows are tense. His arms are crossed and he doesn't look happy.

"I met someone sam, can't you just be happy for me?" I keep my stare tight before turning to go out the back way.

"I am happy for you dean. Honestly. But you cant give away the whole store away over some person" he smirked.

I glared at him but continued on to the back door. Until finally, it was Saturday morning. The morning I had been so excited about all week. But of course, now I was nervous as hell, sitting in my bed room, with no one else home. Sam said he'd take the both shifts today, meaning I am home alone and freaking out. I pick up my phone and scroll through my contact list. Charlie seemed to be the most helpful but she'd just fangirl over it. I don't want to call jo cause she'd just get sad and Ellen would just ask a bunch of questions. Charlie it is.

The phone plays a ringtone song as I wait for her to pick up. After about three rings, she picks up

"Hello?" I let out a breath of relief to hear her voice.

"Hi Charlie, I need your help"

"What can I help ya with Deano"

"I need help picking out an outfit for a casual outing" that should throw off the Fangirling.

"An outing huh? What kind of outing? Does this outing happen to be just you and another person???" Why did she have to watch Sherlock? She could probably-

"I could tell from your voice dean, you seem nervous" yeah that...

"Just wear something comfy and cute Dean. It's a casual date, don't stress it too much or you'll ruin it for yourself" she went on. Then I heard a beep and silence after it. I Look down at my phone to find my lock screen to be the only thing showing. I stand up reopening my closet door and staring in,

"Comfy, huh? I can do comfy"
