We beseech you, Lord Râvano, Ruler of Lankaduipa in the Eastern Sky,
You with Ten Heads and Twenty Arms;
Hear the cries of us monsters, us yakshas and rakshasas,
Hated by the many sires of Man!
To the north lie the blasphemous Vozonids: they desecrate temples,
They have no regard for gods and wights.
Like Zemasor before him, their Emperor seeks to be a god
Through wanton bloodshed and destruction.
He dares send myriads of his blasted tanks, his cursed legions,
To blot our holy nation from the face of Mother Bhûmi.
Give us holy rage, holy hate, divine vengeance
That we may shake off the Vozonids' lasers and their blades.
Give us speed and power, beyond all reason,
To overcome the Vozonids' barrage of hellfire.
Grant us wisdom and understanding
That we will outwit the Vozonids' deceit!
Empower our machines of war and vengeance,
That the invaders will be reduced to only ash!
Lord of Monsters! Lord of Rage! Lord of Utter Vengeance!
Fill us with power to turn the mortals back!
That in their bleeding wounds they learn
Never again to repeat their massacres.
That in their defeat they fear us
And learn to honour you and all that is holy.
Lord of Monsters! Lord of Justice! Lord of Lankaduipa!
May we be your warriors like regiments of rakshasas.
May we honour all that is holy,
Just as you revered Lord Siva, Lord and Ruler of Time.
May we be as wise as you,
That we learn to improve the world.
May we honour you in our courage and knowledge
That all will learn to honour you and all that is holy.
In power I am strong,
In wisdom I pervade the field of war,
In might I punish the desecrators,
And in justice I am more!
All Hail, Lord Râvano, Lord of Lanka!
