Road Trip

Intro 2

Quickly I ran towards the City hall. once at the front door I checked to see if it was unlocked. What? Why would I check to see if it was unlocked? Because, its such a small town that nothing dangerous ever happens.

This is why it was "so smart" to put the queens crown here. Sapphire was always my favorite gem that's why I was able to convince Clyde to let me have this one.

"You in yet?" The walkie talkie goes off scaring me half to death.

"Clyde, I have this under control." I say getting no response back.

Circling around the back of the building I find a back door which is also locked. I reach to my tool belt and pullout a small machine. I jab it into the door. It molds into shape of the key that opens the door. Click! The door opens.

I immediately spot the crown completely out in the open. "What idiots." I snicker. I snatch it up without thinking. Alarms go off. I try to sprint out but can barely move like the gem's arua is making me weak. I "walk" out the door to be met with three police officers.

"Hand over the crown!" one shouts. quickly I through down tear gas and shoot one bullet into the air. To scare them of course. I'm really not that mean.

I run to a small alley way to catch my breath. The gems power make it two times harder to run anywhere. "I hope Clyde doesn't find out about this." I say aloud.

"Help..." I hear faintly. I look around to see a older woman holding an infant. My hearts melts inside. "Take her, please." She coughs and dies. I don't know what to do.

"You almost done down there Mark?" The walkie talkie goes off.

"Yea making my way back now." I reply. Gently I pick up the infant and hand her the crown.

"Hold that for me." I whisper to her. Immediately she falls asleep and a weight is lifted from my back. I sprint to where Clyde and Geared are waiting-I'm in big trouble.
