Anaya's POV

" Bleh bleh bleh." Tiana sticked her tongue out at me.

I chuckled and did the same to her. We kept doing that until we heard Tasha and Edwin laughing at us. We both stopped and looked at them. They both were still laughing. We looked at them irritatingly.

" Why did you both stop?" She asked.

" Bleh bleh bleh." Tiana sticked her tongue at them and I chuckled.

" She is cute." I said kissing on her cheeks. She wiped her cheeks with her baby hands glaring at me. I chuckled.

" He is spoiling her." Tasha said pointing at Edwin.

" You can't blame me. She is my only Princess." He said and picked her up in his arms. She giggled and kissed on his cheeks at once. I chuckled. When I have her kisses she didn't like that but she is now giving kisses to her dad. Kids!!!

" Where is Bella?" I asked her.

" She is still sleeping. Why?" She asked me.

" No. I was just asking. Bella must living a peaceful life as a mother. Hailey is too much calm." I said to her.

" Yes. Pole apart from this little devil of mine." She said.

" Is Hailey doing ok? I mean last time Bella was saying she will take her to the doctor because she is too calm it scares her time to time." I said to her.

" Doctor said everything is normal. There is nothing wrong with the kid. She is doing absolutely fine." She said.

" Then why Bella says that she is a bit abnormal?" I asked her.

" Because Hailey is too calm. She wants her daughter to act normal." She said.

" Hmm...I think Hailey is all good. She is just a cute little doll. She can communicate with people as well. But she doesn't cry much. I sometimes feel like she understands everything happening around her. Her eyes shines brightly time to time." I said mindlessly.

" She is just a kid, Ann. She can't understand things." Edwin said.

" I also know that but I don't know why I do feel like that. I can be wrong as well." I said to them.

" You are wrong. Absolutely wrong here." Edwin said.

" Why do you have to be so straight forward?" Tasha asked him.

" I don't know. I can't help it. I already am." He said and she sighed.

" Don't take it seriously." She said to me. I chuckled.

" I never take Edwin and Alan seriously. They always keeps changing their mind time to time. Unpredictable men." I said to her smilingly.

" Hey!!!" Edwin said.

" Well, it's true. Can't help it." I said to him. " You have anger control your emotions all the time. Am I wrong here?" I asked him.

" That happened only once." He said.

" Only once?!" I asked him.

" Ok, couple of times." He said.

" Couple of times?!!" I asked her.

" Alright, several times." He said to me.

" More like all the time." I said to him. " I can give you thousands of examples." I said to him.

" Alright." He said and I chuckled

" I will be get going now. I have some works to do." I said to them.

" Has Tracy woken up?" Tasha asked me

" No, still sleeping." I said to her.

" I can understand. She must be tired." She said.

" Everyone is sleeping except for we 4." I pointed ourselves.

" Have you checked everyone?" He asked me.

" Yes, this is why saying you that everyone is sleeping." I said to him.

" Did you have your breakfast?" She asked me.

" Will have it outside." I said to her.

" Where are you going?" She asked me.

" Have to buy a gift for Elif." I said to her.

" Who is Elif?" She asked me. I told her the whole story and they laughed hearing her antic behavior.

" Why a gift for her suddenly?" Tasha asked me.

" Her birthday is near and you know how much I love to gift people on their birthday." I said to her and she chuckled.

I mean I love to gift people on every occasions. The smile that appeared on their faces gives me a divine peace in my heart and soul. This why sometimes I gift people randomly without any occasion as well. I know it is a bit weird but that's me. I can't change myself, right? I don't want to change myself anyways.

" I forgot what have you gifted me on my birthday last year." Edwin said

" The same watch which is currently wrapped around your wrist." I said to him and he chuckled.

" How much have you wasted on this?! I think salary of two months." He said.

" Gifts can't be valued with money. Gifts are expression of love and emotions." I said to him and he chuckled.

" You have grown up, Ann. I thought I will adopt you as my daughter." He said and I rolled my eyes.

" I hate you." I said to him and he chuckled.

" Stop you both kids." Tasha said to us.

" Ok. I am going." I said. " Check Tracy if she has woken up. She is alone there." I said to Tasha.

" Ok. You go. Will take care of her." She said and I walked out of there. I wanted to roam the city alone.

Cindy was right. I can't let my fear control me. I have to live my life. I can't cage myself all the time. I will not hide myself anymore. I am not a criminal they are. Why will I hide. I have done nothing wrong. Why do I have to hide?!! I will live freely. If I see any of them I will not be scared. I will face them bravely. They are wrong. I am not.

You can do it, Anaya. You can. You can't hide yourself like that. You just can't. Your soul is dying. Cindy was right. I have to live as Anaya. My real self. Annie is no one. She is just a shade of me. She is just a disguise. I can't kill the real me for my shadow. I just can't. I don't know when I stepped into the road and a car almost hit me if I hadn't stepped back and the car moved a bit away. It stopped afar away from me and I took a deep breath. Ya Allah!!!
