Zayn's POV
" Why haven't you kids talked to us about that?" Mom asked us and we kept silent.
" Would it be useful talking to you both?" Grandma asked her and she sighed. " You only realized that because I have talked to you now. If I hadn't talk to you then you guys would've done the same thing that they said." Grandma said.
" But we could have settled it down." Dad said to her.
" No, you guys couldn't." Grandma said.
" Dad, she needs time. You can't force her to do anything. She has her own life now." Amaira said to him. They stayed silent for awhile.
" Can we meet her?" Mom asked me.
" You want to meet her?" I asked Mom and she nodded.
" Ok. We will do something." Amaira said.
" Invite her for a dinner this weekend." Dad said. I nodded.
" Will try that. If only she agrees." I said said to him. He sighed deeply.
" I want to see her at least for once." Dad said.
" Ok, Dad, she will be there in the wedding ceremonies of Saahil." Amaira said.
" Yeah, you can see her there." I said
They kept silent. I was sure that they were a bit confused.
" Mom, Dad, please trust me. Everything will be ok." I said to them and they nodded weakly. " I have to go to office. I have an important meeting today. See you in the evening." I said to them. They nodded. " Khuda Hafiz." I said and was about to come out of there but Amaira stopped me.
" Drop me at Erhaan's place." Amaira said to me. I nodded.
" Are you going to meet Daniyal?" Elif asked her out of nowhere. She glared at her.
" I am going for a meeting. Not to see his face there." She gritted. I sighed deeply.
" Don't you like him?! If not then you can tell us? Nothing is official yet." Mom said.
" Nooooooo... I mean he is good for her." Elif said and I chuckled. Amaira rolled her eyes.
" Don't worry, Mom. I also know how to bring him under the spell. No worries." Amaira said and I rolled my eyes.
" All the best, Sis?" Elif said more like asked.
" It seems your wedding rather than mine." Amaira said.
" I am just excited. I don't have tons of sisters." Elif said.
" More excited than the bride herself." Amaira said.
" Of course. I am excited but a bit less than the groom." Elif winked at Amaira and she rolled her eyes.
" Whatever." Amaira said.
" I can't wait for your wedding. Come on get married fast and clear my serial." Elif said and I chuckled. I found Mom, Dad and grandma smiling silently.
" There is Zayn after me. Then comes your number." Amaira said.
" His one is fixed. So, we will not be having an issue here with that." She said winking at her.
" Fixed?!" Grandma asked her. " What do you mean by fixed?"
I glared at Elif who smiled sweetly at me.
" Don't take her seriously. She is just a little kid." I said to her.
" Do you really like someone?" Mom asked me and I looked at Amaira. She chuckled.
" Mom, he will reveal that in the right time. No worries." Amaira said.
" When will that right time come?" She asked me.
" Soon Mom." I said to her. She sighed.
" I thought that we will get Anaya married with Zayn if she agrees with that and keep her here with is forever but it took different turn." Grandma said that and we kept looking at her weirdly for awhile. Amaira and Elif smirked at me and I rolled my eyes.
" We had also thought something like that." Amaira said.
" What do you mean?" Mom asked her and both my sisters started to laugh at once.
" What?!" Grandma asked.
" What do you think how did we get to know Annie?" Elif asked her.
" I don't know. How?" She asked her back.
" My dear brother had a crush on her that time. Amaira and I had a doubt for a few days. Then she send me NYC to spy on him. This is how we were sure about that. So, that girl was Annie." Elif said and I looked weirdly at my sisters. Evils!!!! Now I got it how did Amaira come to know everything. Damn!!! I should have realized that.
" Were you both born to irritate me all the time?" I asked them and they chuckled.
" It's better that you got a crush on her." Elif said and I rolled my eyes. Now, I realized why she was saying confidently that Amaira will like Annie.
" You really like her?" Mom asked me and I sighed.
" Deeper than that." I said to her. She chuckled and I rolled my eyes. "What's so funny here?" I asked her.
" Nothing. Just was thinking Anaya must have grown up a beautiful girl. Otherwise, my son's eyes would never ever stuck on a girl like that." Mom said.
" Yes, Mom, I thought he is a gay." Elif said.
" Elifffff!!!" I said. Everyone chuckled. This girl will someday make me hit my head somewhere.
" It's not my fault, Bro. I was just saying that." She said and I sighed.
" I am getting late. Come if you want me to drop you there." I said to Amaira.
" Yeah, drop me there." She said.
" Khuda Hafiz." I said to them.
" Khuda Hafiz." Elif said. " All the best for the meeting , Amy." Elif winked at Amaira. I rolled my eyes along with Amaira.
" I am very happy." Amaira said.
" And why is that?" I asked her.
" Everything is getting settled down." She said to me.
" Yeah, you are also settling down soon. That's a good news. Definitely one of the best one. But I was just thinking about those people whose heart will be broken as soon as you get married." I smirked at her and she glared at me.
" Annoying." She said.
" Yes. I know that from long back." I said to her and chuckled. She just rolled her eyes. I dropped her at Daniyal's office.
" Take care. If you need anything then call me." I said to her and she nodded.
I drove toward our office. Amaira was right. Things are settling down.
