Reflection for the month:- 'Be strong when life is hard'
Life is not always easy to live. Everyone has his personal experience of life to tell. At times it is difficult for some people to make ends meet due to financial problems. Others might be living in difficult situations due to health problems, a broken marriage, being unemployed, or for other reasons. Yes, life could be hard to live.
Through my experience of life I can say that, yes, at times life is hard to live. On the other hand, along the years of my life, I have met people whose life is much harder to live than mine. These people have set an example to me, that, through a special grace one can still live through difficult times peacefully.
Getting to know these people, I have realised that the only thing they have in common, is this special grace. This grace for them is their daily gift from God. The grace that they are able to live a fulfilled life through His love no matter how hard their personal circumstances may be.
They are strong people, spiritually strong, which makes them able to live life in peace even when it is hard. This is only possible because they trust God in their life, they have faith in Him, because they live a life of prayer with Jesus. So, that is why these people are strong even when life is hard, because they are strong in their spiritual life.
If you are facing difficult moments in your life, be encouraged. Other people like you are passing through similar situations and living them through His grace. Be like them, trust Him, have faith in Him, and when you pray to Him ask for His grace.
Jesus, will give you God's grace... I am experiencing this.
Daily prayer for the month:-
Day 1 ⸗ My dear Lord Jesus, be with me during these difficult moments I am passing through in life.
Day 2 ⸗ Help me Lord, to be strong and to carry my cross faithfully.
Day 3 ⸗ Lord I offer you my marriage today, be with us that we may be blessed by you and confront the problems we are facing.
Day 4 ⸗ Give me your grace today Lord, that I may be able to face the problems I am in at my workplace.
Day 5 ⸗ I want to entrust my life more to you Lord, even in these difficult times I am experiencing.
Day 6 ⸗ Jesus, help me to be a person who accepts the cross in my life; give me the strength to carry the cross.
Day 7 ⸗ Dear Lord I give you today my financial problems. Thank you for the many times you provided me with different circumstances to sustain me financially.
Day 8 ⸗ Jesus, thank you for the many people who shared with me about the love of God.
Day 9 ⸗ Holy Trinity, I pray that I may have a stronger faith and receive the grace to live peacefully through my difficult situations.
Day 10 ⸗ Merciful Father, as I face the problems of my life, I ask you to help me meet people who can support me and bring me closer to you.
Day 11 ⸗ Father, you know my health problems; please be with me in these difficult moments and if it is your will, please heal me.
Day 12 ⸗ Dear Lord Jesus, you know my difficulty of being unemployed; please help me with my financial difficulty and provide me with the opportunity to work.
Day 13 ⸗ Lord be with me today, as I face the difficult situations at my workplace.
Day 14 ⸗ Father, help me in my faith, so I may grow spiritually and have more faith in you.
Day 15 ⸗ Lord, give me the courage I need to live my life to the fullness of your love.
Day 16 ⸗ Jesus, help me in the hard times I face, help me with the cross I am carrying.
Day 17 ⸗ Be with me Lord today, that I may meet people who help me to discover you more.
Day 18 ⸗ I pray today Lord, for all those who discovered that they are terminally ill, have mercy on them and give them your peace at this difficult time.
Day 19 ⸗ Father Almighty, I pray for all those who have relatives in prisons; may they experience your peace and love.
Day 20 ⸗ Lord, I share this special prayer today, for all the prisoners, that they may experience your mercy and peace. Touch their hearts dear Lord!
Day 21 ⸗ Help me Lord, that I may increase my faith in you, and trust you more in my life.
Day 22 ⸗ Lord, I ask you to bless all those people who have reached out to me, and drew me closer to you.
Day 23 ⸗ Today, Lord, I pray that you may bless me at my new work place. Make my new place of work a place where I can be a witness of your love, and a place where you will provide for my various needs.
Day 24 ⸗ Have mercy on me Lord, and draw me closer to you, so that I may trust you more in my challenges of life.
Day 25 ⸗ Father, you know the difficult situation I am in with my relatives; help me to forgive them and to love them more.
Day 26 ⸗ Lord, I pray for your daily grace; show me the way, help me to trust you more and draw me closer to the Father.
Day 27 ⸗ Father, I thank you, for when I am in difficulty, and come to you to find refuge, you help me to be stronger in my faith.
Day 28 ⸗ Lord, today I pray that you may help my neighbours to seek you in their family, to help them forgive each other and to help them overcome the difficulties in their marriage.
Day 29 ⸗ Merciful Father, be with all those who are facing health problems: bless them with your grace and if it is your will, heal them and restore their health.
Day 30 ⸗ Dear Jesus, give me the courage to approach the person I have hurt through my actions. Fill me with humility to ask him for forgiveness, for I have misjudged him.
Day 31 ⸗ Father, I thank you for my life, for even though at times I experience difficult times, I know that you love me in a personal way.
