SIX YEARS LATER
Darcy and Lucy Walker have grown up, hit puberty and are beginning to discover themselves as forthcoming, bright young women. As young adolescents, they endure the ups and downs of teenage years with their overprotective brothers by their side.
If you thought the Walker brothers were protective over their sisters' when they were ten, you thought wrong, because this time, the twins' innocence is corrupt and they are desperate to let their hair down at any chance they get. Yes, even 'innocent', 'sweet', Lucy.
(I wish the brothers good luck).
Luke begins to realise he can't always be there, ever present in his little sisters lives, he can't necessarily be ready to jump in and get them out of a situation that's arisen. Nevertheless, Luke is fiercer than ever, and is determined to keep his siblings sheltered and away from harm. Will he learn to take a step back and let his little sisters make mistakes themselves and learn from them?
Leo, the notorious calm, emphatic, still feels the need to quietly and subtly steer the twins away from the darker corners of the world. Chilled out or not, will he accept that his sisters want to grow up and experience the life of boys, parties and stupidity?
Tom, the funny go lucky one, is becoming maturer, but still thinks the twins with so much as a male in sight is no laughing matter. He visits home a few times a week, and is not such a constant in Lucy or Darcy's lives anymore, they are more likely undermine and question his authority, even if it's just subconsciously. Will he let his baby sisters go without any intervention?
Harry, the sporty, youngest brother has been guided to follow in his older brothers attitudes since day one. Now at college, he still manages to keep tabs on his sisters virtually if not in reality - will he come charging back home at every incident or will he trust his younger sisters' instincts?
Ultimately, will the family stay together as everyone gets older, and the sad past fades, or will they crumble and distance as individuals and break the supposedly invincible family unit?
