He looked at me over the rim of the glass he had in his hands.
" You wanna go back to my place..." he said licking his full, lightly pink lips.
I was mesmerized by his actions that I said yes before even realizing what I was saying.
"We can catch up over late dinner," he said coolly.
"Yes!" I replied a little too quickly. Shanice get ahold of yourself...But if I remember correctly he was that one guy in our class who was always doing hand stands and showing off. Maybe it would not be so bad to go back to his place and catch up.
He smiled and grabbed by hand, "Let's go then."
I was slightly nervous because I've never been to anyone's home...Not even Tiffany's. She would always say something about her room not being accommodating enough or make up an excuse as to why I could not come over. To this day I don't even know what the outside of her house looks like. As we walked to the exit, I wondered if I was making the right decision by going to his home. Maybe it's a good thing to try something new...whatever that means. I am twenty-four so it would be good for me to start making friends...I think.
When we went to the parking lot he led me to a black 2018 Rav4. He opened the passenger's side door of the front seat and I hopped in. The inside of the car had cream leather seats and the car had a husky but clean scent. I watched as he walked quickly around to the driver's side of the vehicle. How has grown so much? Once in the car, we drove for about 3 miles before we pulled into the underground parking lot of an apartment complex that was 10 stories high. We got out of the car, then we rode the elevator to the 8th floor where we got off. During the ride, he was very quiet and he only glanced at me once when I had shivered. Afterwards, he extended his jacket to me so I could put it on. We walked down a wide hallway and stopped at a wooden door. He removed a key chain from his pocket and inserted a silver key into the bronze handle of the door. He pushed on the door and we entered into his apartment. It was a very spacious apartment with minimal decorations. The walls were painted a pristine white with ivory trims. The living room had a leather couch in the center with a matching coffee table and tv stand. A simple thirty inch Samsung Smart Tv was centered on the tv stand. There were no cushions on the couch or picture frames on the wall. One thing that really stood out to me was how clean the apartment was and how fresh it smelled. I turned to look at him as he stood in the door way. He then leaned against the door as he watched me.
" You have really grown. I haven't seen you in 12 years." he said, "How have you been... let's talk."
"Yeah, so what do you want to know?" I replied nervously.
"Did you graduate yet? How's your mom?"
"Yes, I actually just finished school. I'm in the process of getting a job and finally moving out on my own."
"That's good...Are you currently seeing someone?"
Why would he ask me that so suddenly? Anyways, who would really want to date someone like me? Maybe he just wanted to start a conversation so I answered him.
"Not at the moment." He walked over to me so quickly that I could not even process what was happening. Before I knew it, my body was being lowered onto the couch and two strong arms were placed on either sides of me. He stared at me intently as his body arched over mine. His eyes were so intense as he looked at me. It was almost as if he was looking into the depths of my soul. His face hardened as he brushed his lips against mine. My eyes fluttered closed as he gently pecked my lips. What seemed to be a gentle kiss turned into a heated, passionate make-out session. His lips massaged my own as he bit lightly onto my bottom lip which gave him the leeway to slide his tongue into my mouth.
"Hmm!" I moaned. Hold up. Did that sound come from me. I need to stop this. I'm not ready to have any sexual encounters with him. We don't even know anything about each other besides going to the same middle school.
I pushed at his chest firmly and he broke the kiss. There was a hazy look lingering in his eyes.
"So how's mom?...You didn't tell me about her."
