i wanted to show you the world but i guess you already found it in someone else
you told me winged conveyances fascinated you, and that you wanted to do a blastoff with someone that has the same interest as you. you told me you wanted to be awed by the breathtaking view underneath, but why did you choose to be a rusty anchor to a ship lost in the middle of the stormy sea?
you told me you wanted to maneuver a plane and do an entire revolution about the longitudinal axis in placid skies with gentle wind, but why did you settle sailing amidst the turbulent body of salty water and endure the harsh waves it gave?
i was more than willing to gun my engine low so you could leapfrog opposite the direction i was moving. i was more than willing to be in a dogfight so at the end of the aerial battle you would be there to aid my injured being. but no. i saw no soaring soul but a floating one.
you told me you hate the sea, but you were also more than willing to be seasick just to be able to sail with the person i'll never be. you told me you'd give up your wings to drown so i told you i'd offer you mine, but you were more than willing to drown... with her.
i was in love with winged engines too, but what can i do? she's into bouyant vessels.
