Chapter 2 The Hospital

The Ambulance finally gets to Emily's house and Emily's mother gets in the Ambulance and Emily and Stephen and Kelli get into he car to follow hem because Emily has her License. So they get to the hospital and their father gets rushed to the hospital and you can hear the emts "we got a 35 year old adult major gunshot womb to the heart we need to fluids on him right away and get him a room right now" and when they get to the ER the family is told to stay back because the wound is very fatal and then the nurse asks Emily how long ago was he shot Emily Replies with about 20 minutes ago and the nurse realizes he's lost a lot of blood and says "we need those fluids stat this man is losing a lot of blood" One of the detectives comes in and pulls Emily Aside "Emily I'm Detective Ashen how are you sweetheart" she replies with "Hi Detective I'm doing okay" the officer says with a smile on his face "Well Emily I just spoke with the police officer that you spoke with when your father got shot can I speak to you for a moment?"she replies with "yes" The Detective Smiles  "okay Emily so the Officer you spoke to said that you had a bad feeling at breakfast and you asked your mom if you could go outside after breakfast to see if anything bad was happening and you got to the basement and you smelt a very bad smell and that's when you saw the body is that correct?" She replies with fear "yes that's correct am I in trouble?" He replies with "No Emily you aren't in trouble the way we do things when someone sees something or when something bad happened we always focus on the person that seen what happened or witnessed whatever happened so we are focusing on you to get all the details and your father just got out of jail right? Do you think he could have anything to do with the deceased body that you seen in the basement?" She replies with "No even though he just got out of prison he would never do it! We just moved into that because he got himself a new job and he wanted to start all over because he knew what he did at that bank. He would never do anything like that ever." The Detective replies with "okay Emily but just to be sure we are bringing him in to question him about what he knows after he gets out of the hospital" Emily replies with " but we don't know that he will get out  detective because he was in crucial condition when he got rolled in here " when she says this, the nurse steps into the room and you could tell that something bad was about to happen " Allen family i know you don't want to hear this and i know you that you don't want to hear this as a family either but i am truly sorry i am really but Emily Allen your father did not make it" at this point the family was in total shock......
