The small babe watched as Aelin immediately left her friends, to stalk over to her. She had chestnut brown eyes with an inner ring of bright blue. And hazelnut brown hair. The small babe laughed as aelin came over.
"She has your eyes." Aelin said softly. He looked up from the babe with tears in his eyes.
Aelin was about to ask to hold the babe when someone burst through the doors, he had red hair, pine green eyes and a smiling face. "Your majesties, I have come to in form you--"
"Just spit it out, Glen" Rowan spoke with authority.
"Truly, rowan , I have come to invite all of you to a party back in Wendlyn."
Aelin looked over to rowan excitement already written on her face, when she came to meet his gaze she found that he was already looking at her, with a look that said calm down its not definite yet,
Can we please go? Aelin silently shot back, rowan just shook his head smiling.
Fine.
Aelin just ran over and gave rowan a hug and a kiss on the cheek. Everyone else was doing their best not to stare and chaol and yrene back to admiring the beauty of their child. Do you want to tell him or should I?
Rowan prompted an eyebrow, again silently asking, you can but later.
Whatever my queen wants.
Oh please, don't make promises you can't keep.
Rowan huffed a laugh.
