So Wedsnesday I woke up and thought about what Luke said. "A challenge" What does he mean by that? Anyways I gave him my number and he texted me saying

"I can't wait until our date (-: -Luke"

"Me either when is it?"

"Does Friday work for you? -Luke"

"Yeah sure What should I wear?(:"

"Something casual but not to casual i've got to go I will pick you up at 6 xx. -Luke"

"Can't wait! x"

Today was the day. My date with luke. I am really excited yesterday abbie and I went to the mall and picked out a outfit. We have been getting along really good lately it's nice to have a friend for once. Last year at my old school I got bullied. A lot. Mainly because of one girl spreading rumors about me. She never liked me I never knew why either. So ever since then I've cut my arms. That girl really hurt me. That's one good reason I moved here. A fresh start.

So right now i'm getting ready for my date. Abbie and I chose a black loose crop top with some denim high waisted shorts. I put on some gladiator sandals and started putting on my make up. I put on some concealer, eye shadow, eyeliner, and mascara. I put on some band bracelets also. I blow dried my hair and put it in a fish tail braid. I love those kinds of braids they're so pretty.

I heard a knock on the front door so I went down there. My parents were out on a dinner "date" so I was all by myself. "Hey Luke" I say when I open the door.

"Hey beautiful" He smiles to me I blush. I rarely get called that and when I do it's from my mom. Thanks mom.

"Are you all ready to go?" He asks

"Yes I am" I say as I close the door and start walking out to his car. He opens the car door for me and I get in. 'What a gentleman' I think to myself.

Once he gets in I ask him where we are going. "A surprise" He says I just agree and we drive down the road.

"We're here!" Luke says I look around and see a beach. "A beach?" I ask while smiling

"Yeah they're fun." He says We both laugh.

"Lets just walk on the beach yeah?" I nod agreeing

"So Lucas you like long walks on the beach?" I ask while giggling a little.

"Haha yeah I do but don't call me Lucas." He says while laughing a bit.

I decide to push my luck and scream out "LUCAS LUCAS LUCAS" Next thing I know I am pushed into the water. I see Luke almost falling down from how hard he was laughing.

"Shut up that wasn't funny" I say while laughing "Well you seem like you think it is. Here let me help you up." When he gives me his hand I take all my strength and pull him down with me. Now it's my turn to laugh.

After about 2 hours in and out of the water we decide to get some ice cream. We get our ice cream and start waking down the sidewalk. "Luke?" Some blond girl says. She was really pretty besides her caked on make up her body figure was perfect. She dressed a bit slutty? A high crop top, some booty shorts and hot pink flip flops. How does she know Luke? He hears his name and turns to see who said it.

"Brittany?" Luke says

"Oh my god it's you! How ar-" she stops mid sentence "Who is she?" She says in a snotty tone and points to me with her perfectly manicured hot pink nails.

"We are on a date. Who are you?" I ask in the same tone.

"He's ex girlfriend" She smirks.

"Well we better get going Kate" Luke interrupts our conversation because it obviously was not going well.

"Alright well I will see you later Lukey" She winks at him and I roll my eyes.

Before she leaves she whispers to me but just loud enough for Luke to hear "Hopefully not with you" I just roll my eyes in response. I keep rolling my eyes I swear they are just gunna roll out of my head.

We get into the car and drive back to my house. "I had a great time Kate sorry about Brittany..." He says "It's okay I get it. I will see you Monday?" "Yeah" he smiles and kisses me one the cheek I blush and walk up to my front door step. It looks like my parents are home.

"Kate where were you?!" My mother yells

"Sorry I forgot to call you but I was going out to eat with a friend" I half lie. Luke's probably more than a friend I think.

"We'll go up to your room it's late."

"Alright" I say and walk up to my room.

I get under the covers and look on tumblr, Instagram, and some other social media websites on my laptop. Luke texted me a couple more times mainly apologizing about Brittany I said its fine and he has to stop saying sorry. I really hope Brittany won't interfere with Luke an I's "Relationship"? "Friendship"? I wonder how long they dated. Was it a serious relationship? Does he still have feelings for her? Did he ever love her? So many questions. 'Today was a long day' I think to myself and with that I fell asleep.
