I just arrived at Ateneo. There are lots of fans roaming around the area. Some were able to see me and ask pictures in which I gladly oblige.
"There you are! Hindi kita ma-contact. Kanina ka pa namin hinihintay. The program is about to start." That was Kim who excused me from the fans. Mabilis niya akong hinila mula sa mga nag-uumpukang fans.
"Sorry, naka-silent phone ko. Ako nalang ba 'yung wala?"

We are almost running because we don't want to be late. As we enter the door of the hall, I bumped into someone who's in a hurry as well. Muntik na akong natumba kung hindi ako naalalayan nitong nakabunggo sa akin.
"Ay shit---" I muttered, but I was caught off guard when I smell that familiar scent.

"Sorry." Said the baritone voice. I don't need to look at him to know who he is.
I turn my gaze up and I sucked in my breath when I came face-to-face to the man who has been a regular guest in my heart and mind for a long period of time already. Thirdy Ravena.
And just like that, it seems like the world has stopped. It seems like we're the only people in the hall. I don't hear the chitchats, all I can hear was the erratic beating of my heart. Man, he never fails to make my heart beats fast just by looking at him.
He's looking in my eyes intently. And he's looking at me like I'm the most beautiful woman in his eyes, as if he was mesmerized. We're just like that for God knows how long.
"Thirds, what happened?" And the magic was gone. Immediately let go of myself to Thirdy to face the girl who broke the magic moment. Julia Casal.
Mukhang pinaglalaruan talaga ako ng tadhana ah.
Pinaglipat-lipat ni Julia ang tingin sa aming dalawa ni Thirdy.
"Nasaktan ka ba?" Thirdy asked me as if not minding that Julia is on his side.
Oo, sobra. Sobra mo akong sinaktan.
"Nope. I better go." Tinanguan ko nalang si Thirdy at Julia at nagmadali nang tumalikod para puntahan ang mga teammates ko.
I expected to see them in this event, but I never expected that I would have an early encounter with them.
