To let go was never a choice, and to leave was never an option.

Brave
Heading to Jisoo's place made my breathing became more heavy adding more pressure to my chest.
I couldn't breath properly even how hard I tried to relax. I know I shouldn't be here but me wanting to assure myself that they will be fine before I'd be gone for a while.
Once I left, I know it'll be not easy to runback again. It may take a lot of courage to do so but for my little bean's safety, I would endure it all.
Jisoo:
I'm heading out to meet Sajangnim. Let's meet somewhere else, Bokyung oppa would be here any moment."I know a place." Realising he got me by surprise, he immediately cleared his throat. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to read your conversation."
I messaged Jisoo right after Kai said the location. He assured it is safe since he personally know the owner of the said shop. After I murmured my thanks I did not bother to speak again. I'm still quiet dazzled with the idea of sitting next to him and the thoughts about Jisoo keeps on bugging me.
She's been always like an older sister to me. Despite of being the maknae of her family, she treated me like her own dongsaeng. When I first met her years ago, I instantly like her and wanted to befriend her. I could faintly remember I always stick around her, literally hugging her.
I even became more close to her family and went to join their Jeju trip before. I remember the three of us with Jisoo and Jiyoon unnie would introduce me as their maknae. People would assume I was part of their family and would constantly compliments Jisoo unnie's mom for having such three beautiful daughters which we always laughed about.
I smiled at the thought. Good old days. I wish I'm still living those days and be a careless kid once again.
Kai started making calls probably the owner of the said shop. I tried to ignore him and focus to the view on the outside.
The runway street made me even more nauseous and dizzy adding my nervous meeting Jisoo unnie after a long time.
She came back two months ago after finishing all the promotional activities of her movie. We met a few times in those two months. On her first month, we met constantly but after Irene and Junmyeon's wedding she became more distant. I understand that she has her own reasons to do so and if giving her space to think of, me and the maknaes halfheartedly obliged.
We arrived on the said shop after ten minutes. It was deserted and no one could be seen including the staffs.
"Kai, my old friend.."
I pressumed it was the owner of the said shop.
"By the way, Janey was looking for you a few days ago. I heard from her-"
Kai excuses himself after I settled down on the four seat table. The owner of the said shop smiled apologetically and excuses himself in a bow.
Janey must be the name of his.. I shut my eyes tightly and tried to calm myself. I could feel the tears slowly brimming on the corner. I'm thankful they went to the farthest part of the shop.
The man Kai was talking to have this unfathomable reaction wearing his shocked face. I don't know what are they talking about but I'm too busy to think about it knowing it'll hurt me in the end.
I bit my lip and tried to think of happy thoughts. Not long after Kai came back holding a cup of tea.
"Here."
