The Drive

The jeep started up and started off back down the beach towards the trail. The trail was awful, it was bumpy and full of puddles. After a few hours we came to a regular road, surrounded by other people! I tried to loose the ropes on my wrists but they just dug deeper causeing pain. I was thinking about shifting, but I didn't want to end up with broken limbs or anything, especially with the rope around my neck. I gave up with a frustraded sigh, which caused Jake to look down at me and smirk. I shrunk back as far as I could and settled in. 

About two hours later Jamie began complaining that he was hungry, my stomach shouted for joy, than dropped. Would they take me in with them? Would this give me a chance to run away? Would Jake let me eat? would I not be allowed anything to drink? I moaned and leaned my head back against Jamie's chair. "Link the others, we will stop at the next McDonalds." Jake said with a sigh. Twenty minutes later we were pulling into a McDonalds. I sat up as far as I could and looked around hoping for anything. 

Jake looked down "There's no excape little wolf." He leaned over and pulled the rope attached to my neck down until my nose was brushing the carpet and knotted it there. I groaned in disaproval, he chuckled as he tipped my onto my side so that I was curled up between the two seats, than put a blindfold over my eyes. My shoulder was taking the brunt of my weight and I knew that it would begin to hurt. I groaned even louder this time as Jake was closing the door. He froze when he heard me than tured around, "I think you can make too much noise, don't you?" I shook my head widly and tried to voice that, no, I couldn't. He grabbed the pump out of his jacked, attached it to my gag and pumped it three times. Tears sprung from my eyes with the pain, I started sobbing and my nose became clogged, I couldn't breathe because of the gag. I had to stop sobbing and take several deep breaths before I could breathe normally again. 

Once I regained my breathing, Jake left slamming the door. I thought my jaw was going to explode with the pressure, I couldn't even move it a centimeter. I lapsed into stillness trying to ignore the intense pain. My body was coiled like a spring ready to break under pressure. I realized that the car had started to get colder and it was dark outside. It was dark for about half an hour before the doors unlocked and the boys got back into the car. I became tense again when I saw jake. 

I noticed Jamie had a bag of food and a drink with him. "Give me the pump Jake." He said. Jake passed it to him without looking at me. I didn't even think about struggling as I thought Jamie was going to pump the gag even more, than I felt the gag get smaller and the air was going out of it and I breathed a quiet sigh of relief. Jamie untied the rope attached to the floor and sat me back up on my knees. He grabbed my jaw and turned my head away from him so he could unhook the gag. He slowly pulled it out and I gagged because my mouth was so dry.

I whimpered because my throat hurt so bad, I flinched away from Jake into Jamie as he glared at me. "Do you want to feed yourself?" Jamie's question brought me back to reality. I nodded, "The only way that's going to happen is if she sits up here so we can see her and her neck has to be tied to your door." my heart sank at his words, I didn't want to sit by him. "Yes or no little wolf?" Jake asked. I nodded my head again. Jamie moved to untie my neck and retie it to the door. Than he helped me in front of him, it was really awkward because his legs were really long so he had to stretch them out on either side of me. I leaned back as far as I could away from his...you know what, but it was still pretty close. 

Once he was done getting adjusted he pulled my neck rope down so that my chin was resting on him knee, he leaned over and untied my wrists leaving my ankles tied. I rotated my shoulders several times while bringing my arms in front of me, I kept clenching and unclenching my hands to get rid of the cramps. Once I was as comfortable as I could be I looked up and saw both of the boys watching me and I wanted to make a smart remark but I was really hungry so I decided not to. I dropped my head down and waited. 

I heard a wrapper being pulled from a sandwich and looked up to find Jamie handing me a cheesburger. I cannot remember the last time I had one, I had been out in the woods for so long. I reverently took it and paused to sniff it. I took a huge bite and moaned at how good it tasted. I saw Jamie crack a smile and I ducked my head, my cheeks heating up. Once I was done with my burger, Jamie handed my a large fry and they were even better than the cheesburger. I offered him some when I didn't want any more and he took a couple, than I caught Jake staring at me so I sunk away from Jamie. I didn't know either of them and I didn't know if Jamie was anything like Jake.

"Do you want your drink?" Jamie asked, I nodded quickly handing him my trash. I took a big gulp and realized that it was a Coke, which was my favorite drink in the whole world! I sipped on the drink for a while than once it was gone, I popped the top off and munched on the ice. Suddenly my head hurt like an ice pick had entered my skull. I moaned at the brain-freeze symptoms. I put my head inbetween my knees. I heard the boys laugh and I looked up to see Jamie reaching for my cup. I shoved the top back inside and grudgingly gave it to him. 

"Were not going to make it to Headquarters before midnight so we are going to stay at the campsite than drive the rest of the way tomorrow afternoon. Tell the others" Jake told Jamie. We drove for another forty minutes. I sat up on my knees to look out the front window. We turned onto a well used gravel road, I could only see what the headlights shone onto, but I didn't recognize where we were at all and that terrified me.
