Chapter 8

Sally left the gang using a plane from her kingdom. Of course, not before saying goodbye to her hero and a few warnings.

As the gang watched the plane disappear. Everyone left, except Sonic who stand still while starring up where the plane while ago.

"Now i don't know what i will do without her." He mumbled to himself. Few minutes have passed, he soon felt he needed to leave the place so he dashed away.

"My lord. It seems like we have located this powerful emeralds. You are right. It is on the planet earth." Storm, the lady assistant said with respect to her lord as she bow.

"As suspect.. And i am indeed right." Valdyr said as he sat on his throne while watching him men controlling the gigantic ship they're in.

"There is one problem, my lord." Storm scowled, and so is her lord.

"And that is?" Valdyr saids calmly. "I'm sure we can get that problem off our shoulder soon." He added.

"My lord. The emeralds has  protectors." Storm said.

"We can kill-

"Tons of them.." She cut her lord's sentence.

"I see.. That is really a nuisance.."

Sitting on the sofa while watching, Sonic yawned boredly. He looked over the sofa seeing his buddy working. Again.

"Hey bud. You busy?" Sonic called out.

"Um.. kinda. But, what's up?" Sensing his buddy's boredom. Tails join Sonic and sat beside him.

"I'm bored. I don't know what to do." Sonic said in lazy voice.

"Uh. Do your usual run?" Tails suggested.

"Nah."

Tails only rolled his eyes while watching his buddy.

"Ah. Hey Sonic. I need to tell you something about our meeting yesterday." Tails said suddenly.

"Yeah? What about it?" Sonic asked now interested.

"I was thinking.. what if Amy hid the emerald?"

"What?... Do you mean?" Sonic scowled at this.

"I mean-

"Tails, buddy. Do you hear what you are saying? It is Amy we're talking about. Her? Hiding the emeralds? Riighhht." Sonic rolled his eyes.

"Sonic, i know what i am talking about." Tails frowned.

"Well. What you are saying right now is none sense."

"Let me finish. Trust me, you'll see my point."

"Fine. Go on." Sonic said putting his chin on top of his palm.

"The enemies, well especially Eggman thinks that we're the one who's hiding the other emeralds. He's not wrong. So he'll focus on how he will defeat us and take all the emeralds. But, if Amy hid the emerald. Eggman won't think that she is because, no offence. He thinks Amy as a damsel in distress and we wont let her hid all the emeralds."

Sonic, now starring at Tails, blinked.

He does got a point.. he thought. "Okay.. so you we're saying. If we let Amy hid all the emeralds. The enemies won't think that she's hiding them since they all think she's too weak to protect it? Right?"
