Chapter 14

As soon as Eggman's robots disappeared. It was once again another terrifying silence.

Sonic and the gang panted. Awfully exhausted from the fighting.

Rouge, who's scanning everyone scowled. "Hey. I've noticed. We are all the civilian?"

"You are a G.U.N. member, yet you didn't know theyre under their care." Shadow spoke with his arms crossed.

"I do hope Vector did well on protect Amy and the others." Espio mumbled to Sonic.

"Try calling him and see where they are now." Sonic panted.

Espio quickly dialed Vector through their wrist communicator. It rang and rang until he answered it.

"Vector. How are you and the others? Are they safe?" Sonic stood beside Espio.

"Pinky is missing!!" Vector yelled at the other line.

"What!? How!? When!?" Sonic panicked.

"I dunno! She suddenly disappeared!" Vector said obviously frustated.

"Damn it!"

Suddenly, everyone gasps.

Metal Sonic attacked Sonic out of nowhere making Sonic flew backwards, hitting a wall.

"Ugh..." Sonic groan and fell on the ground.

"Ho ho ho! Good job Metal Sonic." Eggman also appeared riding his eggmobile.

"Eggman! Give me back my EMERALD!!" Knuckles went hysterical and attack Eggman only to be hit by Metal Sonic who punched him straight to his face, knocking him out.

"Knuckles!" Without second thought, Rouge rushed to Knuckles.

"Knuckles! Wake up!" Rouge yelled.

Knuckles only groan.

Sonic kneeled on the ground, holding his stomach. His eyes were shut tightly due to the pain and the heavy impact of Metal Sonic did.

"Ho ho ho! It seems like you were all exhausted! Well.. the fun just started!" Eggman grinned. "Robots! Attack!"

One by one, small and gigantic robots once again appeared.

Shadow growled obviously pissed. "Rouge, take Knuckles somewhere safe. Blaze and Silver, take the air robots, Miles and Espio, you'll be focusing on the ground. While i take Metal Faker..."

As they all receive the order, Blaze and Silver flew and started fighting, while Espio and Tails focused on the robots on the ground.

Sonic was still kneeling. Out of nowhere, he heard a sound machinery. He looked up in the sky, and saw pairs of helicopters with the logo of Acorn Kingdom.

'Sally's here.' He thought as he watched the helicopters landed and knights with laser guns exiting and joining the other.

Sally who also exited the helicopter, looked around her. Her eyes widen as she saw her boyfriend kneeling and quickly made her way to him.

"Sonikku!" She yelled and help him. "What happened to you!?"

"Metal Sonic." He mumbled.

"What? Metal Sonic was here!" Sally frown.

Sonic stared at Sally for a moment then looked up in the air. Sally follow his movement seeing Shadow and Metal Sonic fighting to death.

"I'm glad i came as soon as i can.. I apolo-

"Don't. You've done nothing wrong." Sonic smirked.

Watching everyone fight. Sally saw Eggman, watching the fight and seemingly enjoying it.

Growling to herself. She left Sonic's side and grab a laser gun, making her way to Eggman.

"Eggman!" She yelled.

Eggman scowled down to her. "Your highness. I didn't expect you to join this party." He only grinned.

"You will pay for this!" Sally pointed the gun towards Eggman, ready to shoot.

"Ho ho ho. I dont think so.." Eggman mumbled to himself.

Out of thin air, a metal hammer hit Sally, making her flew back hitting the ground.

"Sal!" Sonic yelled. He growled at Eggman while glaring. " What did you do to her!?" Sonic said as he watched Sally stood up.

"Ho ho ho! It's not me." Eggman smirked. "Why don't you say hello to your old friend."

"What do you mean!?" Sonic forgot the pain and focused on Sally. He dashes way to her and help her stand up.

"Thank you Sonikku." Sally mumbled.

"It's unsafe here. You need to hide." Sonic looked at Sally worriedly.

"I assure you i am well." Sally stand side by side with Sonic as she grabe her gun again, both looking at Eggman.

"Isn't the thing that hit the princess is familiar?" Eggman smirked and pointed where the said thing.

Sonic and Sally follow where Eggman is pointing.

"A metal.."

"Hammer.."

Sonic eyes widened in fear. He turn his gaze back to Eggman who's now laughing.

"Where is Amy!?" Sonic growled showing his fangs.

"Ho ho ho ho ho! My my! Amy! Someone's searching for you!" Eggman called out.

A robot flew around the scene then landed in front of Sonic and Sally.

Robotize Amy showed herself.

"Say hello to Amy, Sonic!" Eggman laugh louder this time.

"A-amy.." Sonic stared at Amy who's eyes are glaring at him.

"Amy."

"Oh dear."

"Amy what happened to you.."

Everyone lost their focus and looked at the new comer.

"A-ames.. It's me." Sonic stuttered and took a step.

Amy only glared at her and shoot her using the bullets attached to her robotized arm.

"Sonikku!" Sally yelled. "How could you!?" She pointed her gun at Amy, only to be taken down by her.

"Sally get out!" Tails yelled after smashing a robot behind him.

Shadow looked down and saw what's happening. Without thinking, he flew and grab Sally by her wrist and take her away from Amy who failed shooting her.

"Shadow? W-why-

"Now is not the right time to be melo dramatic." Shadow said with his back facing her. He looked over to Sonic who's standing up.

"Why Faker? Has seeing her in state like this weakened you?" Shadow snapped.

Sonic kept his head low.

"Are you even affected that Amy turned like this..." Sonic whispered.

"And you think i am not?" Shadow punched Sonic who hit the ground.

"I love her the way she love you. I care for her the way she care for you. I craved for the attention she gave to you and you did nothing but to trash it." Shadow stood in front Sonic.

Sonic's breaking.. he stay lying on the ground feeling his heart shattered... Is this what Amy felt whenever he turn her down? Out of nowhere, a tear escape from his eyes.

"I am nothing like you, Faker. You're a pathetic hero." Shadow growled and left, fighting back. Metal Sonic.
