10: His salamander

Eric's Pov

Carmelo hasn't moved or talked since he came out of that room I am really confused I seriously don't know what is going on. What is going on? Why are we in Lucy's home and why is the police all over the place and also when did Lucy and Calum become friends.

"Any leads?" I hear Lucy say as comes out of the room. Her eyes were blood shot and swollen, she must have been crying.
I tried to go close to her but she moved away immediately it's like she's avoiding me. Earlier when I said hi when we just arrived she just ignored me.

I tried to get close again but she just turned her back to look at the detective then I spotted something she had a tattoo on her back... Noway it couldn't be. There she was....... my salamander. I can't believe this I had her so close and I didn't recognize her.

No wonder she is avoiding me. she probably hates me right now.

Adriana's Pov
I watched cal as he left then I fell on the floor I cried so hard that tears just stopped coming out. I was very afraid for Elizabeth but who would kidnap her and why.
I shaked my head to stop thinking bad thoughts. I scrambled through my clothes looking for something comfy to wear then yeah I found a tank top and shorts I quickly put them on. I wiped the tears off my face and left for the living room. I spotted the detective and i asked if there was any leads on Lizzy's case but no there weren't any which really bothered me.
What is he still doing here and why is he staring at me like that. He tried coming close but I moved away almost immediately. Then he paused for a while and I saw a confused look on his face . Then he started coming my way again this time I just turned my back and I pretended I was talking to the detective. Then I turned my back to look at Eric but he was gone.

*** the following day***

I woke up at the sound of my phone beeping. It was a text from Nora. In her text Nora told me that Isabel said I could take as much time as I want. She said Eric told her that I was dealing with some family issues and I needed some time off work.

How stupid of him no one asked him to.
I had a slight head ache and I was on the couch Weird! I must have fallen asleep in my own tears.
I remembered the detective and other police officers leaving but I didn't see cal leave. He must still be in my house.
I went to the guest room to check on Cal. He was there but he was just looking outside the window he took a quick glance at me then went back to looking at the window.
I moved closer to him. He didn't sleep at all I can tell by the bags under his eyes. Calum looked restless. It broke my heart seeing him like that. He still has feelings for Lizzy I know he does.

I noticed something about Calum that wasn't there before. He had a black eye. I attempted touching the eye but he held my hand before I could.
"Adriana" Calum called my name
"Eric knows who you are" cal continued.
"But how " I asked.
"He saw your tattoo and when I went after him, he gave me this" cal said pointing to his black eye.

How could he do that what the hell is going on in his head. He is so dead when I find him
