The next few hours of life Ian didn't want to live. He lied to himself, Lie, Lie, Lied. Until Mickey enter the room, limping slightly he sprained his foot when he fell in front of their car.
"Hey..." Ian whispered.
Mickey didn't say anything, just flashed a small smile and sat next to him. They intertwined their fingers in melodic harmony. Sadness hung in the room like a swinging noose of time.
"Everything is going to work out, It always does Ian." Ian nodded at his words, He was right, But Ian just felt hopeless.
They switched off the lights and fell asleep lying next each other wrapped in emotions, no one could control.
Meanwhile over in the next room a different couple stood at a cross roads.
"I'm sorry for ruining your life..." Mandy whispered to Lip.
"You didn't ruin it you know you didn't." Lip sighed.
"Well, I damn well messed it up!" She sobbed, holding back tears prenatal hormones getting into her head.
"I'm sorry I broke your heart, i-if I didn't you wouldn't be in this situation." Lip's voice broke as looked at her stomach.
"I didn't even love him, I love you." Lip nodded, he still had feeling for her deep down. It wasn't time to get back together though. He was waiting for the time he knew they were both ready.
For now he sat next to her and let her cry on his shoulder.
